Ntdll.dll | Windows 11 Game Crashing Fix...
If you are on Windows 11 version 24H2 you have to roll back to Windows 11 version 23H2 for now until Microsoft fixes the problem. The game will then run along with other games that have been crashing (Assassin's Creed: Origins, Diablo 4)

To check what version of Windows you are on, type in "about" in the Windows Search bar. Click on "About your PC" then under "Windows specifications" you'll see the version you have.

To roll back to earlier build of Windows (back to 23H2), type in "go back" in the Windows Search Bar. It'll walk you through the process. Save/backup or move any personal folders on the desktop and let the process complete. Takes a few minutes. the game should then boot as normal. I can confirm the game now runs as well as other games that have been crashing of late, since Windows build 24H2.

tldr; revert Windows back to version 23H2 until Microsoft fixes the problems with version 24H2. If you are on Windows 10, I am not sure how to update that because 23H2 is for Windows 11. You can try updating to Windows 11, then roll it back to 23H2. That MIGHT work.

Thanks @bnjov1 for the clarification!

Edit: Update: You might have to Repair Windows Store after reverting to 23H2. To do this type in "Settings" in the Windows Search Bar and click on it. Then click "System" in the left column, then scroll down to "System Components" and click on it. In the "Microsoft Store" option, look to the right and click on the three dots then click "advanced". Scroll down again and under "Reset", click the Repair button.

I'm on 22H2 and experiencing crashes with this game regardless, is there a way to update specifically to 23H2 without Microsoft destroying my PC with malware/spyware?

22h2 is the latest and last version for win10.
23h2 is for win11.

Good question. Maybe someone else can chime in if they know how?

23h2 is for win11.

Ah my bad, brain fart moment. Personally I think I rather give up on this game than update to Win11.

Yeah I hear you! PC gaming can be a pain. I was watching footage of the PS5 version on YouTube and it looks great. A lot of people having crashes in the game on PC of late, maybe nows the time to run it on sale on PS5 >_<

Anyone knows if that is fixed know? I rolled back months ago.

I'm not sure I uninstalled the game to make room for another one. Tbh, I'd stick with what works. Stick with 23H2 if at all possible if running Windows 11.

Current Windows build (24H2) still having regular CTD while running applications. If you are already on 24H2, it is possible to still roll back to 23H2 but have to find the proper link because Microshart, of course!, took down the link for it. . Archive dot org I hear has the build but i'm not sure which link is best.

Edit: I'll test it again and update this post. I'm on 24H2 Windows build 26100.3775 now. I'm wondering myself now, if this was at all fixed.

Nope. Game still crashes on Windows 24H2, Windows 11. It's the horrible Kernel level anti-cheat which Microsoft is flagging. They are flagging it for a reason so uninstalling for good this time. Never again will I purchase anything on here from SONY.

isnt it fun beta tasting Microsoft's sewage?
Was the same with Vista and 8. 11 is the new Vista.

Vista was a disaster. I tell you, the amount of crashes, system freezes, and generally wtf moments on Windows 11 is mind altering. I don't even think Microshart tests their updates before deployment. I'm just putting up with Windows 11 at the moment. I do like some of the new stuff it offers, like AI implementation. Maybe it'll learn how to fix this frickin' problem. Maybe the makers of GameGuard will get a better understanding in how to fix the conflict of 24H2. It's a wide-spread issue.

The real kicker is them taking down or otherwise extremely minimizing (can find 23H2 if looking hard enough) the ability for the end user to revert back to Windows 11, Build 23H2. Horrible.

Also, Kernel based anti-cheats are cancer. Absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary and only undermine let alone compromise end user systems. It's a frickin' video game, not a paid online game or paid service. SONY is not innocent in this instance and more or less show their inexperience. The game has sold a ton on PC and it's been out for awhile. It should be working without issue by now. No excuses.
