The Automatons need to hibernate underground and rise up when their sensors detect an alien presence.. or am i getting them mixed up with Necrons?
Where else are they making those puppies they drop in on me at levels 7 and above?
This. I personally enjoy the urban maps a lot.
imagine , you walk down a street and out of a sudden a bile titan is walking past you , dont even notice you because it cannot see you
I would assume that when either bug or bot faction enters Super Earth territories then we'll start fighting them there.
Interesting to see bug's behaviour with the buildings. Fighting a couple of chargers down a street is going to be pretty cinematic. Taking on a bile titan and it crashes into a building as it falls...
Will the smaller bugs crawl and climb over the buildings and rubble? Like in E.D.F?
Man you just sparked my imagination. That's pretty cool to think about tbh.
A true city map would be like New mombasa from ODST
They said they will NOT do Tunnels.
(cos the StingrayAutodesk engine was not optimized for it).
There's talk of UE5 in 2025 tho'
Imagine dropping into a city and you're fighting Automaton patrols, but there's a mortar encampment outside the city blasting the area you're in, turning the buildings into rubble. You turn a corner just to come face to face with a Hulk. Striders stomping through the place. Gunships tearing up the joint.
Ah man. That'd be cool to fight.
It would allow for bigger player groups.
Faster/(less buggy? cos common language) development?
But you're right - it's a massive risk/challenge/opportunity/"chinese-curse".
