i dont mind collabs. especially since the team has shared what their line in the sand is for the type of collabs they'd do. they'll keep em within what would work for hd2 universe

the teams track record isnt the best when it comes to standing by what they say they will and wont do.

and definitely dont need collabs every week or month when they should be working on things that should be much higher priorities like bug fixes and optimization.

i'd rather see bigger warbonds more frequently than collabs. a collab every week/month is going to lead to some pretty terrible collabs quick.
only if they fit, and aren't massive, like a new enemy faction. No space marines walking around, no bosco from DRG (we have guard dogs), no crossover 4th faction.
I'm fine with a collaboration so long as it's explicitly kept non-canon and doesn't massively take away from the general vibe of the game.

For example, Some Helghast outfit is fine because it adheres to the general sci-fi military vibe. If they suddenly added a Power Rangers collaborations or inserted some celebrity's next concert into the canon I certainly wouldn't be too pleased.
only ones worth collabs other then killzone is warhammer astra militarum since las guns and the chainsword works perfect in this game setting. & deep rock galactic and thats about it

only if the collabs are more than just more reasons to shove crap in the super store. If they give us a unique mission or major order (something like event quest in monster hunter) we need to fulfill to get the new items then yea absolutely, They should do way more of those in that case, but if its like the Killzone one where they rip up a warbond and shove it in there jacking up prices just because 'collab tax' they can keep it.
I think the masses of "leaks" for all for stuff that's still "being considered" or has half a filepath name updated is just to keep players interested during the long droughts of nothing really going on.
Collabs can come once they've sorted all the issues that have practically existed since launch day.

If I had to pick a position, I'd say 'no more' but ultimately my only reason for that is a game should be true to itself and not directly borrow design elements from other things.

It detracts from the immersion in a game, although this isn't exactly an immersion game it does at least try with it's setting. It would be a shame to ruin that by dropping in, say, Stormtrooper stuff or things from other franchises.

It feels like a vote of no confidence on the game they're making to pull in things from other games.

(Yeah, I know, Disney would never agree to that. It's just a random example.)

I don't want this. To me its one step removed from Kigurumi and Bunny Girl outfits in your Fantasy MMO. Maybe I am to doom and gloom about it, but i already don't think the Killzone Armor looks very Helldiver. The weapons are neat, but i am not feeling the Armor look.

And at some point someone is gonna ask for a Turtles Armor or something. So no thank you.

I certainly think armour sets and designs inspired by or making slight nods to other media, such as the 117 set we already have ingame, are perfectly acceptable. It would just be incredibly bizarre and kind of lame to see an actual John Halo running around.
