Making enemy factions fight each other!
Some players have proposed the idea that the 3 enemy factions may form alliances in the future, resulting in strange hybrid type maps.

However, I think a better idea might be to implement the opposite. There could be major orders that involve instigating fights between the enemy factions. This could help weaken the other factions making this 3 front war easier for Super Earth.

Terminid vs Automaton: By seeding terminids on Automaton worlds, the bots' infrastructure could be seriously crippled. The terminids would likely build nests and damage natural resources critical to Cyberstan's war effort.

Terminid vs Illuminate: The terminids could cause similar problems to the illuminate. Furthermore, the bugs would pose a major threat to the Voteless, especially if terminid physiology makes them immune to illuminate mind control.

Automaton vs Illuminate: This conflict may not even need Super Earth intervention. The squids may also declare war on the bots due to their shared ancestry with Super Earth. Meanwhile the ideals of Cyberstan would make the bots natural enemies of the illuminates do to their use of Voteless slaves (as opposed the automatons view of converting Super Citizens into robots as making them "perfected and equal").

on one hand, i'd love for those bastards to kill each other
but, am don't wanna think about the possibility that smth might come out of them interacting with each other
Bionic bug Like that rabbit from guardians of the galaxy. YES give me weird hybrids to stab!
I doubts they'll do it but it would be really cool if the illuminate would start fighting bugs on their way to meridia/ when new forces come out of the balck hole.

Since Nids are possessing sapience it is anyones guess if they wouldn't just ally with the Automatons or the Illuminates. After all the "war" happens because Super Earth decided to ignore the fact that they are sapient and harvests them for the special dark liquid they produce in their bodies.

While it would be questionable if the Illuminates would have an desire to ally... the Bots and Nids are most definitely united in their hate for Super Earth, with good reason.

So i can't see them "fight" each other.

Again, why would they? Terminids are a peaceful species. It is super earth that enslaves them to harvest them like cattle that causes the "aggression". To nobodies surprise, i might add.

I see no reason for these two to fight at all. While i am unsure about Terminids and Illuminates coming to an agreement... i don't think the Bots have anything to gain from fighting the Illuminates or the other way around.

It's not like the Illuminates are there to "conquer" the world. Much more likey they are back because super earth is engaging in shenanigans again. In the first game they pretty much attacked because Super Earth stole technology after they attacked the much more advanced aliens.

It's been 100 years.. and given how the Illuminates seem to be trying to get closer to Miridan Black Hole in the recent times, going left around or right around Super Earth from the other side of Super Earth... i am not see why Illuminates would care about Bots.

Nor do i see why the Bots would care, since its again Super Earth Enslaving the bots.

It'd be super cool, the devs have mentioned before that they wanted to do this but unfortunately it makes the AI break and stop fighting.
What about if we team up with the bugs instead and wreck everything else?
Just imagine a helldiver riding a bile titan like a big "hoers".
As much I was would to have this and I hope the put this in HD3 were 3 enemies on the map at once, they can't with HD2 again Engine Limitations. The game engine is this games worst enemy because of its issues and it was dropped half way through and they only new this engine from the first game.

striking a deal with a hive queen to fend off another faction's invasion?
sounds fun but doesn't sound possible with super earth (gets drag away)
