I also had some weird problems with it when setting the scythe scope to 100 meters, not sure if that's related to the helmet or the scythe since I don't use both that often but it looked like I was looking inside the gas mask hose at that specific scope setting.
Its been a long time since i played killzone, so being able to play as a helghast trooper again is almost like a dream come true since i loved the series. Wish it ended differently though.
As for its perk, i think it's nice, gives it an all-rounder feel so you don't have to worry about over-specializing.
If it was 75% it would be very OP tbh, but it's 50% and it's still good in many cases.
It's very nice on the bug front and squid front, with the vitality booster (and the motivational shocks) you can survive so much from al the acid attacks.
I do like it on squids cause i like to run Gas nades and flamethrower, also you don't get insta killed by the stray tesla towers. On bugs with vitality booster the spore chargers don't do as much damage to you when they explode near you.
Sadly i like my 2 extra nades alot and the 30% recoil reduction passive, cause stalwart go brr.
Edit: My bad, i mis understood the message what you said about the percentage.
I like it.
Now if only the body armor have the correct color of dark grey instead of green???
That's would be great.
Perk wise, it's not very useful when compare to other more meta perk.
Most of the damage this thing protect you from can be avoided normally.
But if you don't care and just like the drip, then this is a nice bonus to give you more time to stim in case of emergency.
