Where are the optimization mods?
I recall hearing near the beginning of this game's release that AH was collabing with modders to optimize this game's performance or that modders were creating a mod to fix performance.

Whatever happened to that?

Edit:
Alright guys hopefully AH doesn't look at steam discussions because I just found the solution to performance boost and I don't want them to break it again.

Download dxvk from here [github.com]

Type %appdata% on windows search bar and press enter. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Arrowhead\Helldivers2 and delete all files and folders in there.

Navigate to helldivers files by right clicking on the game on steam and click on properties. Enter --use-d3d11 in launch options.

Right click on the game again but this time hover over manage and click on browse local files and then go to bin folder.

From the dxvk file you downloaded earlier, extract d3d11 and dxgi from x64 folder onto the bin folder.

Launch the game and you should get huge boost in performance now.

I know nexus but there aren't any performance mods developed is what I'm saying.
AH isn't responsible for Modders' output.

The game is P2P. What are you expecting?

this just makes it run in directx11 and makes it graphically more buggy in favor of more frames, this isn't a solution, just a band-aid

Nope, the solution runs on Vulkan which is much better than dx11 or 12.

you realize dxvk still uses directx still, right?

dxvk does not use but converts dx9-11 calls to vulkan api. Whatever visual glitches exist in dx11 is absent in dxvk and vice versa.

"does not use"
it's in the name, dxvk. hd2 runs on dx12 natively, and, when you do d3d11, you're asking for directx11. not that you'd understand that.

Bro. Search up "Performance" on the nexus mod page for Hell Divers 2. There are two mods for it. I also Recommend searching up "Fog", that also improves the performance. There's like 4 mods to increase the performance in this game and sound effect improvement mods.

It's alright, already found the best solution. I'll edit my post to include it.
