Can we get a longer warbond please?
Something like the first warbond that has more than 3 pages of unlockables. I have been maxed out on medals ever since the previous warbond came out because I was maxed out right before that as well. Please make somthing worth saving up for like a reward for 250 medals or even a paint slider for current gear. Anything. Please.

True, but some people need reminding. At no point on a forum like this are you having a one on one conversation with anyone. Go invite them for a private conversation if you want that. Otherwise, other people have every right to comment their thoughts. I don't need some "I'm not talking to you" BS thrown at me, don't want my opinion? Ignore it, but you're getting it.

There is nothing really to work for in the game. Its very easy to medal cap in this game with very minimal playing time. Im not asking for every warbond to be a massive grind, or every warbond to be 10 pages.

I think like a 6 month big warbond would be nice, like every 6 months we get a 10 page one give us something to chip away at as we go through the other normal warbonds.
Yeah, this game kinda lacks long term grind capability for players who played a lot early on. If you have everything, you just cap resources and kinda feel like you're wasting your effort. Like, I still collect samples out of habit despite not needing them. Medals can feel a little bad not getting, but at the same time if they collected infinitely you'd just unlock warbonds instantly.

They really just need something like consumable boosts like getting a bonus booster for an entire operation or free strategem kinda like how we get that stuff occasionally. I'd love the ability to spend like half my samples to get a bonus strategem for the entire team. Even if it has the same cooldown for everyone.

They just need a way to burn resources for little boosts of some kind. Something repeatable.

the TLDR of "just play less" argument not functioning is:
Even if you're not present/playing the game when the MO gets completed; the next time you log in, you get the medals.
So if you missed 3 MO's? You're getting 165 medals the next time you get on.
Warbonds take about 500-800 Medals (Highest Urban Legends at 836, Lowest Viper Commandos at 514, average is about 630)
Breakdown time; Miss 6 MO's, about 4-5 weeks (let's say a month and a half, 6 weeks), you've completed your warbond without playing the game a single time. (assuming you log in once or twice to burn the medals so you aren't held back by the medal cap)
If you're someone like me (and statistically most people) and like to play the game because it's, get this, fun; then you probably finish whatever warbond you've chosen in less time than that (Disclaimer; I am referring to doing this without no-lifing, this is done with the people that are playing less than two hours a day in mind)
TLDR: You could, literally, not play the game at all and just log in to spend medals from the MO's and still complete the warbonds fairly quickly.
I'm not someone who thinks this game *needs* to have something to "grind for" or rewards out-the-arse for every level-up or anything like that, BUT; to go as far as to be *arguing* over whether or not the Warbonds go by fast is acinine, they do. The super-credits being what they are, actually, I believe are the only thing holding people back from unlocking them even faster. What Chaoslink said about having "grind capability", I feel, is poor word-choice because what they described is actually a pretty neat idea; something, probably less overpowered than what they described tbh, that is temporarily beneficial to spend samples (ex. DSS) or Medals on would mitigate this.
Something I've said about Helldivers II since release is:
If you *need* a sense of personal progression to enjoy the game, you've chosen the wrong game. It's kinda like if you bought Call of Duty but you *need* fishing mechanics to enjoy a game; you've chosen the wrong game.

Also I'm gonna take the last sentence of this to point out that when someone pointed out, in the public discussion btw, that Vivianite's "play less" idea was met with "people play the game for fun" they chose to deflect and then not respond again. lol. lmao even.

It's still easy to cap things in this game because they haven't added new ship modules to the game in 7 months which were a main source of using your resources. There's only been a handful of stratagems added to the game and they only use your requisition which is super easy to get and max out

All there's left is to farm SC for fluff

Honestly almost everything that they have added to the game all costs super credits and the other forms of our mobile game currency have been useless. So it's easy to max out without really trying when there's nothing to spend it on

Completely agree with OP. The original warbonds actually had some content when released. The latest warbonds take longer to release and have less content. Given that this changed after Shams became CEO I can definitely see who made that choice...

If AH can double (from three to six) pages for each warbonds. But increase the cost to 2k SC like they want. Then I would honestly be fine with it. However the current warbonds are not really worth 1k SC or $10. Im fine if people want to pay for them. The content however is just lacking.

I want a warbond to be useful and fun that fills a niche or role. I do not want a warbond to just be a "color" or a single helpful weapon. More so since warbonds release every two to three months now, instead of releasing monthly. If warbonds were released monthly. Then maybe, mayyybee this crumb fed content would be okay as it would be consistent. Right now its a just a mess.

I mean, I can't imagine it'd be all that "overpowered" to allow you to bring one extra booster or a strategem with a shared cooldown for the team. We already get this periodically during certain events such as weapons testing events and the like where you get free commando or mines or something. Like, we literally already get this. If it cost literally 50% of a full samples pile, 250 commons, 150 rares and 75 supers or whatever, you're not going to be able to burn that every operation you do, just on occasion. It also would give veteran players a reason to extract samples for players who still need them for upgrades.

They just would need to block you from doing it during events so you're not stacking them. Again, this would be consumable, meaning you get to do it for ONE operation, pass or fail and then you have to pay again. Point is, they need something like this that repeats so these resources are spent and need to be collected again. Targeting samples has the advantage of giving players incentive to collect again for players who aren't so far ahead.
Time to play a different game, when:
FOMO/Gacha OCD >> Shooting Bugs/Bots/Squid
