I'm getting absolutely clapped by the gloom, so i'm turning towards the public for ideas. Just give me you loadout idea please.
Note: I don't have polar, commandos, flame, gas, truth enforcers, and servants.

If you want a self-sufficient build and all around versatility, I suggest:
Scorcher as Primary, it's very good against horde and medium armored enemies.
Grenade Launcher/Ultimatum as Secondary.
Thermite , to help one shot the charger, help against bile titan too.
Eagle Strafe , for clearing horde quick in front of you, effective against tank too.
Railgun, helps take down that one annoying bug quickly, putting heat down from battle.
380HE barrage, to help take out bug nest , especially Medium, Heavy and Mega, also to deter bug breach.
Supply Pack , for Providing you with more ammo and grenades, since Scorcher is very much ammo-guzzler.

If you prefer to stun stalkers and other faster-moving bugs, liberator concussive is a good primary to look at. If you got good aim, and good reaction time -- consider the "Truth Enforcers" Halt Shotgun, or the Repirmand from the same warbond.

All the strategms are good, but i find myself using Napalm or Gas.

Cookout, Grenade pistol, Gas grenade + Armor with reduced recoil
500kg
Eagle Strafe
AMR
Supply Backpack

Swap AMR to a QC/EAT/Commando or whatever if you really hate it aka aim challenged ;)

Cookout is nice because it can deal with all the little stuff very effectively so they do not get close to avoid the gas/explosions while still having decent stagger to keep Stalkers, Commanders and such in check.

AMR is nice because it can deal with all the stuff the Cookout is not that great against, 1 tap Commanders, Bile Spewers and Guards while also able to break the leg armor on Charger/Behemoth with 7 shots which is nice since it has 7 or 8 shots per mag depending on if you reloaded with 1 still in the chamber or not. It also kills Titans with 2-3 mags to the head + opens containers.

Gas grenades is your get out of jail card if you ever do get completely swarmed, stim, drop one in the direction you are running and basically anything smaller than a Titan/Impaler will not be able to follow you. It also wrecks bug breaches with the Cookout combo mostly leaving BIG enemies alive which your stratagems/AMR can handle.. and hopefully some teammates if you are on 8+.

Supply Backpack to fuel your ammo/grenade/stim addiction.

Grenade pistol probably dont need any explanation why you want it.

My main weapon is usually the liberator concussive and the secondary is always the senator. That way the liberator keeps the stalkers at bay, and the senator gives the killing blow. I also do this because it makes a tactical retreat much easier. I also use armor with the medkit loadout. Trust me man it helps both you and your teammates out a ton.
Razer Feb 21 @ 5:59pm
Base loadout: Blitzer, grenade pistol, incindiary grenades (or gas)
Armor: Medium med-kit armor.
Strategems: Eagle Napalm, Orbital Napalm, Autocannon Turret, Recoilless Rifle

Been working really well for me.

Other options I tried with success:

Liberator Concussive with Gas Guard Dog
Cookout with Gas Guard Dog
500KG is good because there's just so many heavy's spawning
SPEAR is actually useful here

General comment: the Gloom has about 50%-100% more heavy enemies spawning in. Make sure to take things that can deal with it. A bug breach with orbital napalm+ autocannon turret at decent range will take care of most things coming out of it.

You'll need crowd control vs the gloom bugs, don't bother with getting all DPS as there's no point.

Crowd control mobility, and area denial as they tend to try and approach from all sides.

The main thing is improving your area awareness, this means you can't just aim down sights and keep sniping away in 1 direction. You have to shoot to clear any nearby enemies, then turn around every once in a while.

You need to also be constantly on the move. You should be using weapons that are reliable with just hip fire, or short bursts of aiming as aiming slows down your move speed. You also need to practice sprinting immediately after aim/firing rather than slowly trying to run again.
You have to learn how to combine intermittent shooting and sprinting rather than just fully shooting and fully sprinting without shooting as that would just let hunters/alphas/chargers run you down.

To clear objectives/bug holes - it is usually recommended to just eagle strike/orbital strike them down.

Area denial/crowd control stratagems that are recommended are (without warbond unlocks):

1. Arc Thrower - this one doesn't really need aim, you fire once, it auto locks heads, stuns/staggers + chains to multiple

2. Orbital gas strike - low cooldown, toss into an area and the bugs usually won't go through it, they'll just attack each other when they pass into it, giving you time to run away.

3. Anti-tank mines (you can use other mines, but i recommend anti tank as that tends to be more useful - if you can snipe the mines with a group of enemies nearby, everything near it dies... except bile titans).

4. Sentry - depending on what you're lacking, there's an array of sentries to choose from - some like tesla (abit risky, higher cooldown, you want to place it in a way that chargers and titans can't just sprint or snipe it down and have to approach a little closer), machine gun, or even rocket sentry (seems to be best anti titan, and can also auto aim and destroy shreiker nest/spore mushrooms if there's nothing else to target).

5. Lots of people seem to enjoy flame thrower at the moment, it's area denial + with 4/5 of a tank, can kill chargers by burning their faces as you slow walk kite them whilst backpedaling - (let them charge, you dodge them like a metador, then run up to them as they are turning around and then start burning their face).

There isn't any one loadout recommended as my group has run a very varied setup (everyone using completely different stratagems) and all of us have been successful to a certain extent (some kill titans/chargers better, some kill chaff better, some can just survive and kite indefinitely due to cc/infinite ammo but can't really gib chargers/titans).

If you mix your loadout to handle each situation well (you can't cover everything perfectly), and then LEARN to use them effectively, you'll have a decent time.
Machine Gun Sentry
Gatling Sentry (or /AC-8 Autocannon Sentry)
Rocket Sentry
Quasar Cannon

Democracy Protects Armor
ARC-12 Blitzer
P-4 Senator or P-19 Redeemer
G-6 Frag

Enjoy easy diff10-gloom.
