What's the point of the space station ?
Honestly I just load up and quick game most of the time unless i'm farming democracy credits. I noticed the random artillery couple weeks ago that needed shield generators to survive. I noticed the eagle one too. Is that all it is ?

I guess the current idea is to give people an indicator on the map of where to go with some bonuses (or annoyances) along the way as a resource sink.

They said they'll expand on it but we'll have to see how it evolves over time.

It's to help with the current MO.

There are different things the DSS can do. Each one is specific to certain MO's or objectives. Players vote to put it where it's needed and what to do with it.

It was supposed to be part of the last MO. But due to a bug Joel had to take manual control of it.

If you think about what they are trying to do with it, it's pretty complex. So it might take some time to get it running smooth.

Did you read what it did in game? Why would I take the time to write out a long explanation when what it does is all there

To make people angry at the thought of what could have been, to have been wasted on what was given.

I don't think it's a bad station.

I do think the orbital bombardment was hilariously badly implemented though.

We just expected so much more from it.

in logic we made an massive democray weapon to bring democracy were we more need
in action we only have an hunk of metal that can fly in light-speed that just float around the planets we voted, the only good things are the eagles, they destroy the entire map and let high level's mission's or just destroy everything that moves.

I don't think it was demonstrated very well before it got released. It seems to be a tool for people who have nothing else to put their resources into.

Honestly, I really like those small benefits, we can get from the space station.
Sadly, in 90% of times, it's on cool down.

Why the hack is that necessary? If we want to throw all our own, earned resources at it, why do we have still to endure a seveal days long cooldown for no reasons at all?

In this way, it feels so dissapointing to have missed that short window of time (since you have a real life), so you have to wait again for half a week, to get a chance to use it, again.

A clown take but you'll have to work harder for the jesters, this is too obvious.
