Join friends and make a private lobby with like-minded players, but these players are as rare as the rare-samples we seek.
Told him to just call them 'bunkie' from now on. Nobody knew what the hell 'db' was.
if there's no credits i dont bother
want to make sense? easy. "arty nuke bigboom boom burn stun smoke"
Problem is, like all the other lootable POIs, the spawn pool includes basic support weapons and rare samples.
If you're in a game with high level players, chances are they have pretty much everything unlocked so there's not much reason for them to go out of their way for samples, medals, req slips or support weapons.
Personally i'll always help someone open them, but I can also kinda understand why some players don't bother.
Nowadays if I call out on the bunker and no one responds, I just move on. No need to dwell on it and waste time.
Had a match where every double door call out by me (text/mic) was ignored, team was close-by and it was quiet. Whole team ran on by... End of the match one of them comes on the mic saying "I need super-creds... I wish we found some dubbys." Low level players I get, but 50+
I haven't had the same experience, but I understand the frustration: it may depend on the difficulty I usually play (8/10), where more often than not, you encounter veterans who know what they are doing.
In the past though, I had to resolve to drastic measures to open a couple of bunkers. The most egregious is probably when I sniped with an autocannon a Helldivers from the top of a rocky outcrop and reinforced him to the bunker position.
I almost had to snipe him again before he realized what was happening.
A lot of people I have met use a glitch to see into bunkers even without opening them. If they seem them not worthy they just skip calling over a teammate.
E.g. if it is just filled with medals, and weapons
