People don't seem to care about bunkers
I've just started playing a few weeks ago and found more often than not people aren't interested in the bunkers.

I call out a few times in chat, waiting until there's no immediate action, yet few people help to open them. I even had one case where all 3 team members ran straight past. I got a bit cranky and said, "I guess fck the bunker then" and a dude replied, "just leave then!". Come on dude, I just asked for 10 seconds of your time.

I wish there was some way to open them without another team member as I've missed around a dozen now. Are they even worth the worry?

I get the frustration, the differ from other points of interest (POE) with containers by having 3 random pieces of loot compared to other containers that only have 2. They also have some ammo inside the bunker. From my experience it is completely random what you get inside the bunker, it could be all weapons, money, samples, or some mix thereof. So other then the possibility of getting the premium currency, SuperCredits, there is little incentive for people to come open them up with you which is unfortunate.

Same. Pointing, saying, call-outing - they just ignore.

People in general lack 'care'. They play for passing time and not for playing a game. Co-op is lost for some as they would rather go do their own thing. Playing with randoms has it good a bad's.

Join friends and make a private lobby with like-minded players, but these players are as rare as the rare-samples we seek.

I see so many people saying they have call-outs muted and they deliberately ignore chat entirely. Meaning, if you don't speak there's no way to communicate with these morons. I just block those people, they're obviously allergic to paying even a speck of attention to their team, not worth bothering with.

One guy kept ushering us towards a marker calling 'db' in chat, and nobody knew what the hell he meant until I got over there.

Told him to just call them 'bunkie' from now on. Nobody knew what the hell 'db' was.

you can call out whats inside the bunker through the door
if there's no credits i dont bother
This is why when people say "grinding" SC during normal gameplay is easy I can't take them seriously. It is if you are playing with friends who have the same goals, but the vast majority join and play with randoms and this is what they are like most times because most don't care.

this is why people acronyming everything is cringe IMO. just say stuff that makes sense. it's an issue with seaf artillery too.

want to make sense? easy. "arty nuke bigboom boom burn stun smoke"
bunkers are kinda meh honestly. They can have supplies (ammo/grenades/stims) and they have the shelves which will always spawn 3 items.

Problem is, like all the other lootable POIs, the spawn pool includes basic support weapons and rare samples.

If you're in a game with high level players, chances are they have pretty much everything unlocked so there's not much reason for them to go out of their way for samples, medals, req slips or support weapons.

Personally i'll always help someone open them, but I can also kinda understand why some players don't bother.

A lot of people are straight up blind and can't see bunkers if their lives depend on it. Then they come in the forums to complain about the paltry rate of super credits in game. I've even seen people who don't even know you can blow up the containers for extra loot even though they are at least level 30+.

Nowadays if I call out on the bunker and no one responds, I just move on. No need to dwell on it and waste time.

I always type "Bunker" or call it out over mic, I give it a minute, if I get no response I move on, don't waste your time dawdling for a player that ain't going to come. Sometimes people are off doing their own thing, or they are getting barrelled on and can't do anything to even get to you. But, you do get the ones that just run on by clearly seeing the double yellow lights.

Had a match where every double door call out by me (text/mic) was ignored, team was close-by and it was quiet. Whole team ran on by... End of the match one of them comes on the mic saying "I need super-creds... I wish we found some dubbys." Low level players I get, but 50+

Ya I'd assume he'd be calling out the Shotgun you can rarely find on maps. db for Double Barrel not Bunker. I guess they meant Double Button

I haven't had the same experience, but I understand the frustration: it may depend on the difficulty I usually play (8/10), where more often than not, you encounter veterans who know what they are doing.
In the past though, I had to resolve to drastic measures to open a couple of bunkers. The most egregious is probably when I sniped with an autocannon a Helldivers from the top of a rocky outcrop and reinforced him to the bunker position.
I almost had to snipe him again before he realized what was happening.

A lot of people I have met use a glitch to see into bunkers even without opening them. If they seem them not worthy they just skip calling over a teammate.

E.g. if it is just filled with medals, and weapons
Kill them and reinforce them in front of the bunker. It's what i do, always works. Maybe they don't get it the first time but they do eventually.
