Helldivers 2 doesn't open

Whenever i try to open the game it closes itself without giving me any warning or stuff like that

recently had this issue and after trying a dozen different things this is what worked for me:
- press windows key and R at the same time, this opens a text box
- type this in: %appdata%
- find "Arrowhead" and go into this folder
- delete the entire Helldivers 2 folder

this will remove your settings (graphics mostly) and the game will treat you as if you opened it for the first time (gotta accept the terms of service again stuff like that) BUT the game works, hopefully it will work for you

Restarting steam always solves that for me.
