Problems With Bug Missions
Every time I try to load one in my game crashes as soon as I am loading onto the planet right before you can control the hellpod in air. This has been happening for 2-3 months now and only on the bugs. I can still play squids and bots but I would really like to play bugs sometimes as well. Before I am told to verify files or reinstall I have done all of that and more. I don't know what to do anymore about this. If there are any suggestions I would love to hear them.

Basically if you ever used mods. Then you need to the mod manager to purge the mods folder when this happens after updates. Then it will crash another time and be fine from there.

I'm unaware of another cause. Perhaps older drivers.

First make sure you are running the "1.2.1.0" version of mod manager. Anything older will have such issues. The latest beta version also is full of problems.

https://www.nexusmods.com/helldivers2/mods/109?tab=files

You may need to go into active mod folder MM creates and delete them. They often get stuck. Open MM, click settings, and go to the storage directory pathway folder.

If that doesnt work. Delete the game guard folder in your game directory. Verify files.

If that doesnt work reinstall the game.

Anything past that and you will need to be more creative.

What if my computer is telling me gameguard cannot be found. I'm trying to delete it but it can't find it when I click delete. It's also telling me it's not found in program files anymore.
