Dog Water performance on 5800x/3080ti 32GB RAM

Can't even get the game to run in DX11 anymore. I JUST WANT TO DIVE.

I get 14-20 FPS on the bridge at 3440x1440; 14 being ultra, 20 being low. Please help.

Verify Integrity Of Game Files has fixed most problems for me.

Try some of this:
- Verify integrity of files
- Uninstall, delete HD2 folder in Steam apps and reinstall
- Make sure all drivers are updated

Is all your drivers and Bios up to date are you on Windows 11 24H2?
I should also add running 3440x1440 on a single GPU is pretty damn intensive work.

Stfu with the works fine with me. They don’t even tell you specs. Let me tell you, mega cities sometimes takes up a lot of cpu. Like 70% of a 7800x3d. Try to disable steam overlay or any overlay for this game.

My friend had a good 60fps before the patch, after the patch he couldn't play for a day since the game wouldn't boot, and then when he fixed it he's got 10-30fps.

People saying "Game runs fine" are just trolling. i5 12600k overclocked pretty high to avoid bottlenecks, XFX Mercury 9070XT OC well undervolted with some VRAM OC, the game runs like poop on UWQHD: 40 fps with enemies around, about 50 otherwise, maybe 60 in 1% high, 80 fps with no undervolt/OC and 90 fps with OC in the Superdestroyer so nothing happening on screen is the best I can achieve. And that's in fact pretty consistent all over the maps, not just Super Earth turns out. Settings Ultra no upscaling and no super sampling.

According to benchmarks, Battlefront 2 with my setup would run 4K 100 fps all day in MP and it is visually more xomplex than HD2. Just saying.

It's nothingburger of a debate. HD2 = unoptimized just like water is wet.

on a single gpu? sli has not been a thing in gaming for years now.....
