2 hours of Nightreign and I'm surprised how well AH have made this coop game
I never play with friends on this, always with randoms, always diff 10. Just being able to mark stuff on the map or an enemy and my character says a voice line to communicate this is all that's needed.

Nightreign, your character is silent all the time. Mark something on the map? You better hope your team mates are facing the same direction as your marker or else they won't see it. Mark an enemy? Can't do that.

Form have never been make any multiplayer focus game since...who know?
While AH have been doing it since Magicka 1 years ago.

Can't say I'm surprise it gonna be lacking in that front since this is just their side project to test out their new netcode or so I have heard.
A game came out that was significantly below industry standards, so that makes every other coop game amazing? Marking stuff on the map and having a chat toggle wheel has been the default for years. Age of mythology had a map ping option back in 2002.

FromSoftware's policy from the start was "lets make multiplayer difficult" so its not really a surprise their multiplayer only game came out pretty rough on release.
