Why Arrowhead Deserves the Situation Right Now.
I understood some misunderstand is based on the translation. Held xx% is translated into defend successful xx% in CN. Yet, it is still not recommended even with almost 200 hours playing this game.
So first thing, the bugs, I mean, the game bugs, not the one we get E-710. Every several times, some bugs like unable to call the support, unable to run, or even unbale to act with the mission-related things like the terminal or something else.
And then, let's talk about the Squids' invasion event.
The very first thing is, the mission has no difference, just those several types, and each Mega city has no difference, and have no characteristics. That makes the SE defending mission very boring after play it for long time. So that's why I will never blame the bug divers like some people in the community. Fighting with the squids, IS BORING. At least, I mean, at least. If the advertisement board is using different language or the S.E.A.F. and citizens speaks in different tones based on the Megacities' location. It will be much more fun.
Next, about the defending mission itself. As I said before, some misunderstood was occurred due to the translation. But yet, the design that you cannot 100% held the city itself is not a smart choice. People just want to see the 100%, even for several seconds. Well, as for me, I will not annoyed or frustrated if the holding rate drops after we reach 100% for a while. I will not being that angry as yesterday. Seeing the holding rate stuck at 99.98% something do disappointing to me, and at that moment, the first thing I thought about is just 'Oh, did Arrowhead locked the value, and Joel doing some unknown adjustment as some old players saying?'. TBN, that's your fault, Arrowhead. No wonder why many are annoyed about this. U CAN make it reach 100% held and then falls even in one second, even you didn't make any special event if the city is fully held. That's all right. But it is just frustrated that it is stucked at 99.9873% and never goes up.
Then, something about the event after 99% or 100% taken. Though I said, it is OK even if there's nothing after 100% hold the city. But it is not so good. Well, doing extra damage to the Squid's fleet after almost fully taking EoS is good. But, well, this announcement does not even have a translation to other language. Absolutely it is not prepared before hugh? And, yes, I saw many compalin about why even after EoS is almost 100% held and the battle of Prosperity City is begin, the invasion to EoS is still 7.8% per hour while in PC it is just 4.8%. It is not that logical. Designing a story like, because they spend a lot of power in EoS(or any other city if they make it 100% held) and cannot fully take it, they retreat, and trying to attack other city at first, and then give EoS a chance to rest, and with no invasion for sometimes(Maybe 1 or 2 hours). People will naturally go to defend PC, right ? Even after some time, squids comming back to invade EoS again with 7.8%, no one will complain about it. What AH's arrangement now only make some role player think. ‘Well, well, even they start to attcak PC, the most of the fleet is still at EoS. Absolutely PC's people have some trade with squids, and the traitors are in PC.’. And even those normal player will naturally think that AH and Joel is arranging the story to the final battle at PC, and only PC stands. And besides, PC is the last opened city, and it is the capital of Super Earth, and it is Stockholm if you look at the map. So some players will think about 'This Swedish company just want their country being the final hero, then go F**K themselves' after almost all the other Megacities are lost, and PC is not invaded yet.
So, in words. It is still Arrowhead and Joel's fault. They deserve a review-bomb for the bad story telling and being lazy in the event design. But, to those who are not recommended recently, please be a little bit reasonable, at least not mislead by the fake news. (Just like what the wrong translation do to the CN players.)

I dove countless times yesterday and late into the night to defend Equality on Sea. I too thought we'd push past the 99.7999%.

When we didn't I realized... we're the defenders. We don't get to pick when the enemies are done attacking. There are plenty of Illuminate ships left in the fleet, and they can come down to visit whenever they feel like until we've destroyed them all.

Just because our defenses were impenetrable doesn't mean the threat isn't out there, ready to strike a minute, an hour, or a day from now.

We're all tired from the campaign of defending Super Earth. But hang in there divers, the night is darkest before the dawn.

That's a lot of text for you to just tell us you're a having a hissy fit. All I got from that is that you're a two-legged terminid who's not getting a dopamine hit from seeing a number go up, and you're narcissist that can't grasp that what happens to the fictional dystopian hellhole in the game is not some sort of personal slight against you and the equivalent real dystopian hellhole you live in.

Look, I am just trying to explain why I am disappointed about this event, and why I think AH deserve this situation. And you are trying to attack me from the personality and where I live in. How ridiculous you are. Is that how American treat others? And by the way, which one of us is living in the dystopian do you think? At least I do not suffer from selling blood to afford the daily life and the gunshot on street everyday. Hope you survive from the gunshot in the future. LoL

True. I don't take it serious. I just don't like how AH act in this event. They can do better, at least from my point of view. And that's all.

It's AH's fault 100%. They've added enemies to the squid roster that completely destroy good design language and the new bugs from both updates have completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ how the game plays. Going to call in a stratagem in one second flat? Nope, new returning bug makes your diver put it away making you manually time when to punch in the last arrow. The mega cities themselves are buggy as hell and are actual chaos to fight in.

We're talking enemies walking through walls, walking through floors, walking through EVERYTHING. And now the DSS is in orbit and will send down eagle strafing run to everything in proximity of you. Only issue is that eagle run will align themselves with all open spaces, and all of those open spaces are long streets. So no matter how much room you put between yourself and a squigger, the eagle is very likely going to hit you.

Don't get me started on the Leviathans. I'm not going to get into how much I hate this thing.

I put as much time as I could into Super Earth but I just have ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ enough. I went back to bug and bot planets for a quick sojourn and by god I have so much more fun against them than whatever the hell the squids are supposed to be now. I used to think the Illuminate as a faction would get their ranks filled with fascinating units that could shield, teleport, and mind scramble divers. The kind of underhanded tactics an alien would deploy but no, their entire design philosophy now is damage sponging. The plane and plasma mortar are cool, but it's they're only ones I actually like. The rest is lazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that shows AH really does not know how to develop for their own game anymore.

All in all, AH did not cook with this climax. They put the least amount of effort in to what could have been a great event. They deserve to be called out for it.

So it's fine when most major events in American games happen in major American cities. It's fine when most major events in Japanese games set in the modern world happen in Tokyo. But when a Swedish company dares to do the same instead of prioritizing other countries it's now somehow bad?

Equality-at-Sea was the only other megacity not to fall, but it's still not enough and now you're freaking out because a mistranslation upset you. Are only the Chinese are allowed to have national pride? Cute double standards you have there. Now get out.

I only say since Squids are implemented the Peformance made a nosedive from patch to patch, after every patch it was less and less playable peformance wise... Now it runs so bad with my same rig i used in the beginning of HD2 that it is literally unplayable....
Im not sure whats going on... and sure i would have loved to dive just for fun but im slowly thinking either their QA team SUCKS or is just totally incompetent....

But from what i see sofar over the messages and such... it doesnt feel rewarding anymore fighting... it all feel scripted...

Well, something you misunderstand here. At least for me, I don't really mind if it was EoS stand. I'm good if the stand city is somewhere other than EoS. Eagle, 02, Mercy, York, Remembrance. If they tell a good story, it is also OK that the last stand city is PC. The thing here is (Just for me, not present other players), they do not tell a good story. If the story is good, EoS falls from 100% sudden to 0% due because DSS was shoot down and falls down to EoS is also acceptable. But now, I don't think they make the defense on PC reasonable. That's the point dude. If you ask me? I am just a player using random gaming, I dive to everywhere on SE equally.
