Updating speed extremely slow

is it just me? my steam updating helldivers 2 takes 6+ hours with 18 mb/s
while i switch updating to other game its my normal downloading speed 220mb/s

what happend? is it too many people downloading the update or my end issue

ya the 6.1GB patch was suppsoe to take 4 hours for me. im hardwired with 1GB downlaod and uplaod speed. i uninstalled and hit reinstall and thats gonna take a hour and a half. idk if its on my end or just my ISP or the wire infrastructure of my house

but i see many people on the forums and some my friends already playing the update
i guess its my pc issue, only option now is to reinstall?

also my network updating helldivers 2 speed is 14mb while peak is 248mb
what a joke

edit: reinstall does work! just 30 minutes
so its issue with new update

im having the same issue i have 1gb download and upload matches yet its taking me so far an hour to download just cause 3 and im only at 60%?

Everyone is downloading it, steams probably needs to prioritise it a bit more.

oh nevermind downloading speed reverted back to 10mb/s
