IGN wants a Warhammer 40,000 collab. 😂😂😂

As you know, the world’s worst news, critic, and media website posted some ridiculous ♥♥♥♥ today. I was looking at recent news for Helldivers 2 and I see an IGN link “Arrowhead Wants Helldivers 2 to Be Around 'For Years and Years and Years to Come' - and What About a Warhammer 40,000 Collab?”

First of all, I don’t think Arrowhead wants to be involved with Warhammer 40,000 because Space Marine killed Helldivers 1, and Space Marine 2 almost killed Helldivers 2.

Second of all, the CEO says he doesn’t want to do collabs that much.

Finally, aren’t the armor and weapons in Warhammer 40,000 like insanely OP in lore?

Edit: I forgot to mention I don’t know like 99.9% of the Warhammer 40,000 lore, weapons, gear, and stuff like that.

- gyro-stabilizers, movement interfaces, magnetic boots . give the RonDeSantis boots a run for it's money.

40k and HD universes are a mismatch imo. If the "crossover" is just some IG armor and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ laser, that's fine.

"Almost killed". They both just exist, that hype is old and fell through months ago tbh

won't happen, simply because the human lasers are red in 40 k and arrowhead would need 6 month of work and break the autocannon to try to recolor lasers for only one weapon

Like I said, I don’t know much about Warhammer 40,000 or the devs, but I can agree that a collab in a game like Helldivers 2 is a terrible idea.

The devs want a 40K cross over GW want a 40K cross over, that's why we got the shovel. But it's finding something that will work for both, and it not be a once off, like the killzone stuff, because then didn't go down well at all.

Good assessment of IGN. However, you're a far worse critic if you think Slopmarine 2 was anything but just another 🥱 AAA release, much less would do anything to unseat HD2.

I wasn’t glazing Space Marine 2, I was just pointing out how it almost killed Helldivers 2 when the game was at its lowest point. I was never engaged with Space Marine or Warhammer 40,000 at all, it’s just that the popularity of Space Marine 2’s release almost killed Helldivers 2. I’m by means not a Warhammer 40,000 nerd. I share no interest in Warhammer 40,000.
