it literally just makes it to where the supply pack is mandatory.
no im gonna blame the developers for making a bad decision. not the bot players who are just trying to have fun, and im not gonna suffer, im just gonna play another game.
this makes the game unfun, which is the whole reason im playing, to enjoy myself.
i "could" completely sacrifice playing in a way that I find fun to try and make up for a bad decision made by the developers and not have fun, or i could go play Rimworld or Kenshi and have fun.
Soo, stims are down from 4 to 2.
What led to this decision? Was it something like this?
“Hey, we tried nerfing all the weapons and for some reason the players say permanently dying is not fun. Therefore the player count dropped. We put it back and it went back up. Is this a weapons thing or does it happen whenever we suddenly nerf things that impact gameplay in a big way. Let’s test this.”
id imagine its something along those lines. we have had massive bugs that make the game alot worse for months like silent chargers and bots wall hacking, or votless just walking through solid objects. none of which they can seem to find the time to fix.
but when it comes to adding things that make the game worse they work like a well oiled machine. like these stims, or how most maps covered in dense fog no one likes. or instantly patching out the quasar bug.
So you will be forced to have a teammate for support reloads, as devs always wanted it to be!
I hope they do too, then be forced to cancel the live service once every one leaves.
Right now the difference between medium armor and heavy armor is like 3
layers of Toiletpaper to 4 layeres of toiletpaper vs laserweapons.
This is the kind of bad design that makes perks like "unflinching" unuseble since you have to stim as soon you feel you could get damaged.
The weakest bot can insta-kill a helldiver if the bot doesnt panic and actualy hit you with all his shots.
yeah i find it ironic that heavy armor makes the game less survivable, as most things aim for the head even the bugs. while the things that dont can kill you outright anyway. so all heavy armor does is prevent you from avoiding insta kill hits, and makes you an easier kill for light enemies.
