Players in the game is toxic for some reason
I am not playing game much and only do missions time to time to have fun in helldivers and for some reason most of the times I play, I get kicked out of the game or team killed while I just trying to play the game... why everyone is so toxic and full of hate i don't get it. When I try to communicate they don't even answer back as well.

(and before you ask no, I don't use any kind of stratagem to bother anyone else I am minding my own business)

From what I've experienced, Helldivers has a really chill community for the most part. You do occasionally meet people who act in bad faith, but from my 60 hours they seem very rare. And I've had far more good experiences with randos than bad - I'm amazed how many steam friends I've added playing this!

First of all; a lot of those kicks are just matchmaking errors. If you try to join and <bang> you're back on the super destroyer with a "kicked from the game" message you probably just joined at the moment they extracted. Happens a lot, nothing to worry about or take personally.

And, a lot of players don't VC. And there are all kinds of reasons for that, lots of people don't have mics - I haven't had a headset with a mic for a decade. Other people live in houses they share, and either don't have the quiet for good VC or don't want to disturb housemates. And some people don't feel safe, especially Trans gamers and girl gamers. I honestly don't think the majority of people are ignoring you maliciously, they've probably just got VC off.

Text chat is really hard for console gamers, too, they're often mutes and I don't think we can blame them for that with how tricky their comm interface is. Text isn't even that easy on PC, fast typing is a big part of my IRL job and even I struggle to type more than a brief sentence under pressure.

Accidental TKs are really common, and while they can be upsetting folks don't usually mean it. A lot of them will apologise if they can. For my 2c all we can really do is practice careful positioning so we're not next to a high value target someone might want to 500kg bomb, and to accept it's part of life. I try to see the funny side - I'm a stealthdiver and I was 20 minutes into a solo op, hadn't even been hit yet. And a player joined and managed to somehow land on my head! I died, I was right next to a bot outpost and they all woke up and turned my new companion into confetti. Lmao. ♥♥♥♥ happens, all we can do is laugh.

A few people have TKed me on purpose, but I can only think of three incidents from 60 hours and hundreds of missions. Funnily enough on my very first mission a guy objected to me (a girl) even playing HD2 and TKed me to try and discourage me. He was my very first kill! :D And that's the attitude I take; someone like that doesn't want me to enjoy the game, doesn't want me to be happy. So ♥♥♥♥ 'em, I'm going to just exactly that. I'm going to get hours of enjoyment out of the game, form lifelong memories make new friends and feel joy. So far it's worked really well*

*I would caveat this by saying I'm 100% a stealthdiver main, so admittedly getting kicked is MUCH less of a penalty for me. As I can easily solo any difficulty I play on. Allowing me to laugh, declare PVP enabled, and consider myself to be playing Spy vs Spy for the rest of the match.

Accidentals happen. Best to keep that in mind. Also lag disconnects show as you getting booted... tested with clan...

It's easiest just to host a lobby yourself to avoid this.

If you leave crossplay on you might not get the brightest divers, but your lobby will fill most of the time while you are selecting your loadout.

Then you can't be kicked! You do the kicking!

Not my experience at all, in fact quite the opposite. There's a-holes everywhere there's humans, but by and large the community is pretty awesome in this game.

Try playing Dota 2 if you want to see what a toxic community looks like. Dang, that game is a magnet for a-holes.

My brother, or sister, in democracy, add me if you wish. I have over 700 hours experience in the field and am very wiling to spread some democracy with you sometime. May the enemies of democracy burn in the light of our belief in whatever the Ministry of Truth says.
I mean when I play I sometimes might call in 120 Orbital strikes at close range - I usually will shout Danger Close. But I do try and avoid firing weapons into the rest of the squad. Just sometimes you gotta pop a stratagem and run for the nearest foxhole.

And pray you don't get hit. Sometimes you even have no choice but to advance under orbital fire to bring liberty, democracy and freedom to the galaxy.

Likewise. I'm fairly new to this, but I can promise you I'm always very careful around teammates.

Magnificently democratic.

real player-killers are rare, but they are around. they are in fact annoying, but to me what's even more annoying is AH's attitude towards them. which is none at all. they just let these people be the trolls they are.

kickers are usually people who expect you to read their mind. in this case since you said you're minding your own business then i guess that's exactly it. they want you to stick together

on the case of "full of hate", the game is in fact a bit more frustrating than before. this is because the persistent bugs (not terminids) and the attitude of the devs against bugs (not terminids). predator strain is even more frustrating, because with them being SO FKING FAST, every bit of bug and glitch that affects your character amplifies their effectiveness and get you killed, which lead to more frustration among players and i assume make them hateful.
The general belief is that AH was never going to handle these reports themselves and was set up to have Playstation's support staff head that up, which would have required integration they had planned with the Playstation Network.

When the PSN requirement backfired in ♥♥♥♥♥-a55 Sony's faces, as it should have, Sony killed all plans to have that integration happen, leaving the game without >any< remedy to the reporting scenarios that the game is scripted to feature, but do not work.

They have zendesk reporting if you file a ticket, but you won't typically get a response from them, and if you do, it's usually generic copy paste 'thank you for reporting ... if you have any issues with a transaction feel free to contact us again'.

The bugs (not terminids) are by far the most infuriating and irritating aspect of this game at this point. The community overall is awesome, with a few rare exceptions, the game itself is quite well balanced and very fun WHEN IT WORKS RIGHT, but dying from pure janky BS because the devs can't be bothered to do their job properly and fix the game is not fun at all and it detracts more and more from an otherwise great game.

DEVS, FIX THE GAME PLS.

Possible this translation of 'minding my own business' is the reason for being kicked?

I mean if you are LITERALLY being kicked in almost every game - that's a pattern there and the issue might stem from you....

So are THEY toxic? or are you?

If I get kicked out of 100 bars, am i going to blame the bars for being toxic or maybe look inward and see what i was doing...
congrats on not hosting your own game and experiencing what happens when you dont
Turn off crossplay
Bro this game has the most chill players compared to pretty much every other multiplayer game
