Mods are not officially supported. If they don't work, tough. Literally zero point in complaining here about them.
Mods are user generated content that have no affiliation with the game. It would actually be surprising if a Mod worked after a game update without the Mod also needing to be updated
It called waiting for the Mod Author to update the Mod for the game
This is how it works for literally every other game with Mods
As Quill said, there isn't. You should be discussing with the mod authors (politely, they're doing this work usually unpaid on their own time) when they'll update for compatibility.
Nothing that AH do will stand 'in the way' of that unless they configure certain systems or files in a way that is difficult to mod, but that's not them being obtuse to mod developers (or at least, I would assume it's not, pettier things have happened) it's just a byproduct of how they design the game.
