Lossless Scaling Settings
Anyone have the recommended settings for Lossless Scaling?

The settings I use for most games cause very noticeable input lag in this game.

There is a YT video out there of someone testing all the variations. Any type of scaling is going to have varying degree of input lag. You just need to find the one that has the right balance for you. It's also possible there is no variation where the input lag delta is "okay".
After trying it i have to say unfortubately it barely helps with fps, and makes the image so bad it looks like ps3 no matter the settings

I don't use frame generation. I set %appdata% arrowhead config file to 854 by 544 and use 2x scaling with fsr. textures are set to high everything else at low. It's the minimum resolution for preserving detail and it's almost as good as 1024 by 768 at doing that.

What's the point of lossless scaling anyways? Is it for people who don't have powerful computers and just to have it so that it looks like they're playing on a decent resolution or texture setting?

It works like frame generator. Can generate x2, x3 or x4 frames.

Turn off mouse smoothing in the game's settings, it's on by default and adds a ton of input lag.

it basically generates extra frames at the cost of input lag. Not worth imo

In a nutshell yes. The PC gaming industry has long just expected players to just "upgrade their gear" rather than spend time on optimizing their work. Frame generation can help bridge the gap for those in that situation.

It's not a silver bullet but for those that just need a little bit, it can help. For those that need a lot of it, it will typically make the experience worse (input lag, ghosting when the algorithm predicted incorrectly, etc).

For Loseless use this:

-Frame Gen: LSFG 3.0
-Mode: x2
-Resolution Scale: 100%

For the game itself you need to do:

-Cap your framerate to 60 FPS with the ingame framerate limiter option or you can do it directly with nvidia control panel/amd adrenalin
-Use fullscreen windowed mode

Ahh alright. Thanks for the info. That might have helped with my last rig but it was like 10 years old so it was due to get upgraded anyways

I know what you mean tho by how everything is so unoptimized these days and the super bloated file sizes. Going from super optimized 3.5 floppy disks to 100-200gb file sizes is crazy

Here's the video I was mentioning. It's a bit older, so the results may or may not be the same today:

Anybody have some recent hell divers two settings for an RTX 2070 super? Nothing I do works and it’s always worse than not even using it at all.
