what is this i hear about a hell divers 3?

it was just piles saying that they are "growing helldivers 2 into helldivers 3."
interpret that as there won't be a new game, but the ideas they may have had for an hd3 are gonna be stuck into hd2.

HD2 is a live service game, unless HD3 was ready to be launched, it would be like killing your goose that lays golden eggs. No one will put money into a game that will soon be superseded by a new game. So I wouldn't expect any news about HD3 anytime soon, since it took them 8 years to make HD2.

Helldivers 3 is when they incorporate Dance Dance Revolution when you call strategems.
