what happens if the bots reach super earth?

Im sure well all know that the bots are starting to get too close to super earth so what happens when they get here? do we just lose or do we get an emergency order where we have to fight the bots on super earth while protecting citizens?

In the first Helldivers when Super Earth got invaded it was always a huge event with a sort of "FINAL STAND! TO THE LAST MAN! WE DIE FOR SUPER EARTH" kind of gimmick. Lots of defence missions and just mowing down hordes, very fun.

You actually got cool cosmetic rewards and stuff too depending on if you managed to win or lose.

the question is : what happens WHEN we ever lose ... , will everyone just resettle to mars or what

When we lose then its probably gonna be like in Helldivers 1 - we destroy Super Earth and go search home elsewhere.

This game seems to be a lot more narrative driven than the first. So bots won't attack Super Earth until it works narratively.

HD1 they just reset the campaign to 0. HD2 no one knows yet

Yeah super earth was awesome in the first game with maps that are only city biome.

These supposed lines don't matter, if the devs decide each faction is suddenly in sol system they'll be there

Once they getting too close, Windows will force an update upon them, disabling all their ships and weapons and putting them in a state they become easy picking for Super Destroyers.

Well since the Narrative is set to them Harvesting and not conquering thats why they dont use supply lines.
