Personally I think a two maned Tank is perfect.
The LRV will be the full squad platform for fast efficient strikes and reconnaissance
Mechs are single manned heavy armoured walkers - designed to punch into fortified positions and support the other members of the fire team
The Tank would be a nice in between, whilst fulfilling a unique role. It is the slow, heavy armour perfect for tackling larger enemies of Democracy. It requires two divers to operate, but the other two divers are free to remain mobile to drop stratagems when needed.
That be cool to, and possibly if they want to aid a new dimension to the game a light helicopter. Nothing big, more like a buzzard. But something which can zip around and strike targets of opportunity.
- Withstand massive amounts of damage for a long time, and gain complete invulnerability while under REP's beam.
- Oneshot 35 heavy enemies at a rate of 30 per minute and run over any amount of light enemies.
- Be called in 16 (sixteen) copies without cooldowns per match.
So long as it comes with a horn that just shouts C&C3 mammoth tank lines.
UNRIVALED
Damn, now i want to play it again. Such a good game. Pity that they never, ever, did C&C 4. Nope. Nada.
Tank controls are actually VASTLY superior to car controls in ALL games. As tanks are inherently easier to drive and can rotate in place, it's basically driving for idiots. So noone is going to complain there.
Tank actually needs to be 4 players, not 1 or 2. Should require a MINIMUM of 2 players, one to drive one to shoot the main gun. But then two extra slots to man separate MGs.
It does actually need to be changed to a full 360 degree turret. Tank destroyers are an ancient and obsolete concept from WW2. They don't exist anymore for good reason. So it just needs to have a full propper turret now. It can be renamed of course.
minus the weird tread thing Bungie had going on
There will be plenty of those, who will complain, I'm assure you.
Imho, besides vehicles and mechs they need to add ability to repair and ressuply it.
