It has infinite ammo, never needs to reload, and stuns enemies like no other primary.
Buffing it would make it too strong when paired with a Guard Dog, especially the laser GD.
It can even stun Walkers.
Blitzer is one of my favorite guns in this game and i don't think it needs any buffs. It's my primary weapon of choice for Illuminates at the moment.
They follow the same rules as the Arc Thrower. So follow the Arc thrower guides on how to avoid shooting your Teammates and it will work just fine.
And bring a Sidearm you can use to help out a Teammate to deal with "danger close" when you can't fire the Blitzer without hurting them.

From memory, yes, but i am not entirely sure, without checking. So someone else will need to confirm if it definitely is.
That being said.. only get the Blitzer if you enjoy slow firing weapons like the Punisher and the Slugger. People that do not enjoy the former two's firing speeds will not enjoy the Blitzer. Its kinda like an infinite ammo Punisher.
Besides R-63 Eruptor, AR-23C Liberator Concussive and SG-8 Punisher all have better stagger value on top of firing faster.
They're also more reliable than the Blitzer so only thing it has going for it is it's Infinite ammo
I calculated it's DPS (Damage Per Second), we have 5 ARCs each doing 50 ARC damage. That puts us at 250 total per shot.
My issue stems from the fact these ARCs tend to miss a lot or go to the wrong targets, additionally it gets even worse as this weapon only has 45 RPM (Rounds Per Minute).
This means if you hit ALL 5 ARCs everytime you will deal exactly 187,5 DPS, which even the crappy LAS-7 Dagger secondary beats as it deals more DPS on top of having "infinite" ammo, much more range and setting targets on fire, the tradeoff is Light Penetration.
