I got it after completing missions a bunch of times after logging in. Maybe you need a minimum amount of missions or kills to get it, it was treated like a "Major Order has been completed" thing.

idk if you also might need to purchase the first "pack" or not, I'm a sucker so I got the handout pretty much immediately lol

You don't I never bought the one in store cause I don't need it. I am willing to bet a better warbond will come out so I'm saving all the SC I saved up to bet on that.

yeah this is the sensible and smart thing to do, the new AR is just a liberator with slightly bigger mag and faster reload. cool gun but def not worth the $6 price tag lol

I've not touched helldivers since the second warbond, logged in a few days ago once to check out the new enemys, and got hit with the first wave of the items an hour after they announced it'll be free and send out.

Devs said it was sent to all active accounts, those that have been signed into in the last couple months, same with the Major Orders. So if you just signed in for the freebies, you may not get it. It's kind of up in the air if they will give it to all regardless.
