And they actually believed it.
because bile titans will need 25 to 30 head shots to be killed, if that isnt prenerffed i don't know what it?
e: oh no a mech thats supposed to be mediocre against bile titans is mediocre against bile titans, stop the presses. its only good against *checks notes* literally everything else bugs field.
Can't believe they prenerfed the Stalwart, not great against bile titans
It's almost like the Mech is designed to counter medium-armoured enemies rather than heavily-armoured enemies.
Shocking, I know.
Okay, not gonna lie, that made me chuckle.
There hasn't been any nerf to the mech. A bunch of cheaters cheating to get access to an unreleased product doesn't mean the Mech got nerfed because it doesn't behave the way cheaters said it should. Edit: And thats even assuming you believe them when they say they didn't use any other cheats./edit
The current state of the mech is its original state, regardless how many iterations it went through during its development.
Wake up! The community is falling apart!
It's the difference between building an F1 race car vs driving one.
Sure, the builders know how much gas needs to injected and when tires need to be rotated, etc; but the driver actually knows the machine intimately. Knows what improvements it needs and where the builders should be focusing their attention to make imporvements.
In our case, since day 1 the builders have been too busy telling the drivers that they know better because they built it. Once they collectively decided to remove each others heads from each others posteriors then perhaps AH will finally stop ruining their own game.
and then there's people like mr.Frieren is talking about. They're elitist gatekeepers. They don't care about the state of the game, they're just looking to boost their egos by implying that they're better than everyone else. They fundamentally lack the intellectual capacity to grasp the point that it's not about whether or not they can make it work but whether or not the state of the game is actually healthy.
I've seen it happen repeatedly, these hard-left-of-the-IQ-Bell-Curve types always preside over the death of games. The whole time that players warn the studio that they're going the wrong way, the studios always choose to listen to the people telling them comforting lies about how they're actually doing a very good job and how everyone else just has a skill issue.
At the same time the Nordic Presentation of Pilestedt made it clear they have a very specific vision that is not meant to be for everyone. It also seemed like Pilested expected player numbers to be more like they are now or less. So we can conclude that it might as well be that Arrowhead finishes their analysis and says: All systems working as intended.
The thing wrong then isn't at AH but with player expectations of the game. Pilestedts talk iterated that Helldivers is not for everyone and everyone showing up was unexpected.
Based on Pilestedts talk, that's not changing. He considers sticking to their guns a crucial part of their success.
