About the mech....
today marks a day of celebration as the newly acquired Emancipator Exosuit is immediately rushed out for distribution to all Helldivers.
only took 2months amirite?
The brilliant engineers of Super Earth have, in record time, made the vehicle both safe and efficient
have the exact same amount of paper thin armor and HP
i guess the only good thing left is it has almost no bugs
tho i have a few times the melee stopped working

are the devs making content based on day 1 launch?
have they not tested this?
this shet so ass, i might as well use supply pod to kill mobs
who made this and said its good
150 ammo, 2 per warrior, 7 per charger, 15 or so per titan
this thing is cold garbage, it isn't even hot out of the microwave its so raw and cold, its alive, and walk off the plate in shame

This mech's been in this game for a long time so it's not been actually added recently, which means it's probably in the same state as previous mech.
It'll probably get stronger after the new patch, and if not then i guess i'll be saddened by this.

I bring the Mech on every single bug mission I run and have for a long time, so I have a LOT of hours piloting it. My feeling about the new one is that it's not as good as the old one, though I still haven't tested it against bots. The main gun doesn't do enough damage. If you have both mechs on the field then the Emancipator can help shore up the Patriot's shortcomings, but the Patriot is still the more versatile machine. The Emancipator is easier to aim, so it's more user friendly to less experienced pilots, but the autocannon rounds need a buff.

The emasculator 9000 is the best weapon in the game.

The new one, Emancipator, works considerably better against bots than the Patriot.

Scout striders and machine-gun emplacements are a serious source of chip damage, both of which are not an issue with Emancipator autocannons. Small bots are a big source of ammo waste, since it is almost required to melee them, and an Emancipator mech would need allies to clear the small fry while it focuses on devastators, gunships, berserkers, and hulks.

I suspect both mechs are still cannon fodder (as in the cannons will destroy them almost immediatly), which means foot mobiles will have to destroy cannon towers and keep an alert for annihilator tanks. Maybe a good idea for the pilot to carry a spear or pair up with a spear user to delete cannon towers or combine forces against tanks.

I agree that Patriot seems better against bugs. If the map has bile spewers, then Emancipator could easily kill those and dense clusters of bugs with aimed shots. Good news is that the mech chassis is just as effective against everything smaller than a spewer simply by existing.

20 to 30 headshots to kill a bile titan. think about that...

Who would've guessed that the Patriot for bugs sucks against bots and the Emancipator for bots sucks against bugs

just used it on a defense mission. we killed I think 13 bile titans with the mech, they didnt stand a chance. we shredded chargers as well.

thing is very good for bigger enemies ESPECIALLY if you have 2 people running it. barrage of hell.
