With charged shots, you can wipe out several enemies at once.
Many enemies die in 1-2 charged shots.
In my personal opinion? Yes. Solid damage, especially when charged. Decent AoE. The only issue is fighting stuff at close range will obviously damage yourself.
deals with every non tank unit effectively and with good ammo efficiency
only issue is it isn't great for hordes, but it still does ok because of AOE explosions
seriously, i went from the sickle to the purifier and am not going back.
its perfect for bot and illuminate front. you can wipe out a whole devastator patrol + stagger them. its also perfect to kill overseers through their armor and shields.
Yes it is a good weapon.
If you like it or not is up to you though.
One of the best.
Now you might feel a little confused because when the weapon first came out, it was trash, and it was trash for a very long time. Now you can use charge or shoot it like a single shot weapon and both options are effective for what they provide.
