(Serious) Is super earth the "bad guy" of helldivers?
Is super earth actually good or are they bad? I mean they make the helldivers genocide bugs for little to no reason other then fuel. Bot's are understandable but why are we killing the bugs? I ask everyone replying to please reply in a serious manner.

The devs based helldivers on things like starship troopers. Super-earth is supposed to be cartoonly fascist, just like starship troopers.
Interesting fact, the writer of the book didn't intend it to parody, he thought that stuff was good, and then the movie was making a parody of the book

Yeah, it's a funny point because the people who made the movie have come out over and over again saying it's supposed to be satire, but because the author of the book was very pro-military industrial complex, people think the movie isn't satire and is actually a support of a militaristic society.

( tl;dr, people are dumb )

I think what happened is a small group of bugs attacked a small colony during researcher on the attack they found out the bugs have oil and super earth using the attack as justification declared war.
