In the video they released today it says that the R-4 Hyena is the Campaign reward, which means that they removed it from the upcoming super store, but that the leaks are real...
Also this likely means something new will be added in the super store in its place.

Yes. Arrowhead is clearly re-building their upcoming warbond and the super store items. We'll see what we end up getting, but who knows how long it will take.

It would be nice if they'd stop with the weapons in the superstore and make it cosmetic only like they said at the start. All those things can go into the warbonds like they used to be before viper commandos.

Idk... even the armors are not really cosmetic because they have certain affects to them, only exceptions being the helmets, capes, banners, and emotes.

Very true, but if the passive exists on another armor that was part of a warbond i'm willing to call that toeing the line of cosmetic only.

I think the armor passive effect should be selectable like a self only booster, but that's a different topic.

I'd advise caution with assumptions like this.

The recent reward sounded like it was only handed out to those who participated and for those who did not it will be 'available at a later date'. 'HOW' it is available at a later date is the question. It's still very possible that the 'scrapped warbond' isn't scrapped at all and they're allowing people to claim items for participation outside of it before it is released.

There is no guarantee these items will not be a purchasable later.

Not really… only against terminids, I run DMRs primarily and have found Censor to be best for bots though if not care for stealth the Dilligence and Dilligence CS work, and for illuminate (which people rarely use DMRs for) the Deadeye due to being able to pop overseers’ heads or Eruptor due to dealing with everything effectively … so it only changes what will be best on bugs… because DMRs and bugs have not gone well together in the past due to warriors rushing when they lose their heads and the rest not being able to be killed by 1 shot to the face (unless using OP Erupter)

Eh, the Gallant really isn't the best SMG and the Verdict sure as heck isn't the best pistol.

Sure, if this route were to be the case then you'd be paying for 'less' in a warbond, but if the Hyena was/is still a super store item and the campaign is won...I'd say that beats scrapping level 1s for SCs. One mission vs dozens.

Of course, now there would be a perceived interest in making us lose the campaign...but then again that's been here since the start anyway without any incentives to point to in the first place.

I'm certainly not going to tear myself up over conjecture at this moment though. We will have to wait and see.
