I hope they nerf the orbital napalm.
Not because I think its over powered, but because i have been TKed by this thing so many times since coming back because people with IQs lower then room temp keep throwing it right on top of positions.

Nah I think it's perfect. It's an orbital barrage, it's mean to destroy everything in the vicinity. Fall back and pay attention to your team's stratgems.

The 120mm is alright after its buff but the 380 is garbage and Napalm one is severely overrated for bugs and pretty worthless for bots.

anything napalm is an automatic no. I would run the flamethrower before the armor issue got "fixed" but now i most i will use the incendiary breaker to clear out flying swarms at most. its weird to me that the initial explosion of the napalm eagle doesn't seem to do any damage and you have to rely on the tick damage which basically means dealing with the enemies yourself anyways.

i would use all the orbitals if they dropped just a bit faster. the long persistent part of it dropping like a few shots at a time then pausing till it finishes just doesn't seem viable. if it dropped quicker so that enemies don't have the fortune to simply follow you out of the target area, it would feel more worth.

it doesn't need eagle level of speed in dropping the whole payload but the "its a persisting stratagem" is a detriment when it doesn't even try to course correct when targets are moving. just means their is a higher chance of enemies getting out of the way.
Orbital Napalm has an extremely long call in time. If a teammate threw it at your feet and you sprinted away from it you'd survive. If you're dying to this you're not paying enough attention. Not that a teammate should be throwing it at you, but it is entirely escapable if they do.
Have not died to this even once. You get a week and half to leave the area.
Why do people bother replying to others talking about Nerfs?

Ignore them and let their rage sink off the page, there is no point talking to people that talk in Nerf language, they literally insult people in the same sentence.
It takes a toll when people are dropping this one small bases or optional missions to "open" them up. Wear fire armor at all times until AH can implement something. Maybe a quick poll for all 4 players to vote yes or no on the orbital.
Sounds like a skill issue to me. How about you get better instead if whining?
Just ran away. 10 sec starting time. In medium and light armor you are for sure have more than enought time to run away.

Bloody hell, turn it into a ship upgrade unlock - and maybe have a version where it displays it on the HUD.

Or just different beams. Why is a beam calling in a precision tactical strike the same beam that calls in a firestorm?

Please give us different beams. Bigger, scarier beams that indicate bigger, scarier call-ins.

Lol, even in my lvl 150 games, when a noob joins and they napalm orbital into the middle of the mega nest whilst everyone else is in there- some one is dying regardless of how much 'skill'.

it's a user skill issue the majority of the time when someone dies.

I said it enough times already and say it again.
If you get killed by an orbital airstrike which even has a seconds long activation time with a huge as hell red laser lighting in your face telling you "DON'T GO THERE", than it's your fault.

I have been killed by 380mm barrage, orbital napalm too. But it was totally my lack of attention. Not the problem of the stratagem.

You know what kind of people i see dying to these?
The ones who run around like headless chickens and run straight into every enemy group and camp to shoot the bots /bugs from 1,5m afar. Those people are the ones I always leave alone because they make it impossible to ever use any kind of eagle or orbital anywhere.

Yeh, currently you are forced to aim at the beam to see what is being called in and the countdown.

Unless everyone is on comms and yelling out what's comming, it's just playing whackamole with seeing what's comming.

problem is most people aren't on comms, or dont' call out.
