Gives you something to work towards. I've not bought a single warbond with money and I have every one except the new one, just by playing the game. I think I'm 10sc off getting the latest warbond.

There is not super credits in every single mission. If there was it would take 100 missions, but since its RNG it can take several hundred missions to get enough for the pass.

I've never run a mission and not found at least 10 sc

I usually average between 20-40 sc per mission when not really clearing the map just hitting the odd POI

It is quite silly yes, but that's what paywall literally means. Alternative currency that can be gained virtually by grind or click to purchase via your country's currency. It's locked behind it. Thus a paywall.

So with that logic every RPG every made, online or offline, singleplayer or multiplayer is locked behind a paywall, going all the way back to even the earliest Elder scrolls and even the text based web RPGs, before the term Paywall was even coined, all were paywalled. Is that really the definition you want to go for? As you just made that word lose all meaning.

How would it be ANY DIFFERENT than grinding for an invisible exp bar that eventually opened the warbond? Here, they let you choose how fast to unlock it. Instantly via purchase, or in a few short hours via searching for SC. This game has the most non-predatory pay system in gaming and people still complain lol.

Congratulations... the Primary weapons met with a bunch of spoiled brats heaping nothing but scorn on the devs for the unlockable Primary weapons, so the devs stopped including Primary weapons.

You got what you thought you wanted.

YOU TOO can own any 1000 SC warbond you want if you are willing to grind away. Simply run around the map looking for a RNG spawn and hope you find the RNG drop in that RNG spawn and then do that 100 times because that's how many times you need to find and pick up SC to pay for one warbond if you already used up all the battlepass SC.

The devs haven't stopped releasing new primaries, they are just on pause. I am fine with it because they buffed lots of existing primaries. Before the majority of primaries were worthless trash, now there are lots of viable alternatives to meta primaries which is fantastic.

So yes, thank you, I did get what I wanted.
