Because international treaties (which still exist despite the unification of Super Earth under one government) prohibit the participation of medics in combat, and also prohibit sniping at medics when they enter the field of combat to attend to wounded combatants, your armor is issued in a color pattern which matches the most commonly distributed colors and patterns of Colgate toothpaste issued with your standard kit.

This makes it simpler for you to patch your armor after friendly-fire incidents. You do not need alternately colored armor, and you do not need any patch material more sturdy than dried toothpaste, since you will not be targeted by enemy fire.

The CEO of the game is dumb enough to think that players require a uniform ugly medic armor visual because in his mind players will see their teammate chose medic armor and run to them to get stims.

He doesn't play the game so he doesn't understand we just stim ourselves whenever we take damage. He has stated before that alternative color schemes for medic armor is off the table because you won't know who the team medic is if it wasn't the same color for all armor. This is also the reason he won't let us transmog or dye armor as well.

You can however go for the TR-117 Alpha Commander which has the med-kit passive bonus. The armor is from twitch drops.

But with the stim gun you no longer need to run over to the medic to get stimmed. Does the clown in charge of development even play games at all?
