Guys you gotta hit it in the white spot on the forehead. I was hitting it just generally in the exposed flesh but that takes way more damage to kill.

Btw, it doesn't most of the time. Idk what's going on. The damage vs health value states it should always insta die tentacles exposed or retracted, and it just doesn't a lot of the time.

ATM it seems to randomly take between 1 and 3 rr rockets to the face. anybody else having this issue or any tips for where to shoot? cuz for the life of me idk why i cant get a reliable one tap on them

All AT rocket launchers kill it in one hit to its face when its tentacles are down. You have to hit the smooth section at the top center of it's exposed face. If you do that, it's a 1 hit kill. This is where you shoot it with all weapons, so if you don't have hard AT you still shoot it here with your MG, Crossbow, Eruptor, etc.

Also anyone posting "skill issue" at OP's comment is a useless poster and extremely juvenile.

Yeah it doesn't oneshot there like 1/3 of the time with hard AT except for spear. Something is bugged with Impaler hp. Maybe it's just network latency, or the problem was silently hotfixed out since the 17th patch. Haven't done bugs in a few days

I've dumped a full commando into the exposed neck and it survived. Happened more than once.

And a 500KG thrown at the base of the neck should always kill it. Not happening currently.

So yes, I just thermite them.

It is bugged.

I have had 0 issue one shotting it there with all AT weapons. It consistently 1 hit kills there. I've had full matches where I've killed several impalers and never had an issue one shotting that spot. It's a small hitbox, your aim must be true.

ye thanks after trying it there im getting better results. i was shooting too low.
