Yeah, until you have to carry a side objective like an SSSD and you forgot to bring an SMG or something, lol.

just drop it when you need it or make the other tms carry it

Neat. What's the "med pistol from killing floor 2"?

shoots heatseaking bullets at tms to heal them easier and poisons enamies when you hit them(doesnt heatseak them tho)

Medic weapons in KF2 had an alt fire that would fire a healing dart. Except the medic guns also locked onto teammates, so darts auto-tracked targets if you looked vaguely at someone.

Got it. Sounds like most healing abilities in Overwatch, then. Yeah, I agree. A healing/buff weapon ought to auto-target team-mates. That's probably THE primary reason I've no interest in it - not much ammo, very easy to miss.

very easy to miss is an understatement and a half

The biggest issue with the stim pistol is its laughable range before projectile drop and here's why:
Fires a ballistic dart at near-supersonic speeds, allowing the user to sim allies from a distance. Might sting.

Near-supersonic speeds should carry it somewhat further than like 35m before dropping, right? I think hope they messed up the projectile on accident, because it isn't even consistent with itself.
It's super super inconsistent. Maybe I just have a skill issue, but I never know where to shoot the thing. It feels like sometimes I'll hit a teammate dead on and the hitboxes are so bad or their gear(not shield bubble) gets in the way and it does nothing. I've had teammies just "lol" at me after I spam fire all 6 shots and don't hit a single one. Quite frustrating when this happens.

Otherwise I feel like the healing is fine and NO we don't need self-healing with this thing. Team gun only.

Agreed. Big facts.
I like a little challenge and the teamplay aspect of HD2 is a draw.

Stim pistol for myself and I would never work as a team

im saying the stim pistol needs to auto lock on teammates so the darts dont go to waste you dolt.

At least very least, having the lock on from KF2 med gun would be a great start.
Then we can talk if it should be able to shoot the user or not.

Personally, I don't see why not and it would be pretty stupid not to.
Not like a solo-wolf wannabe would start to give a ♥♥♥♥ about his teammate with this restriction anyway, they will just use something else.

Well, the healing darts from both Killing Floor games had a pretty short travel time iirc. The current stim pistol for HD2 fires paper airplanes carrying a stim syringe, so it's useful but not at range. A seeking feature would probably be the easiest way to appease the playerbase, but I think literally just improving the speed of the projectile would make it a bit easier.

I don't think it was intended for medic-sniping given its ADS sights, but the current version just has me blasting darts into the ether between the projectile speed and lag.

KF2 had both- seeking and speed. The seeking would fall off at range, but you could still make your shots if you placed them well because the speed was basically hitscan.
