How can you get a message to the Devs?
First this post isn't for the masochist or the ones that say they like a challenge , this isn't about that. This is about removing the bullshite from the game and i am not talking about the the crashes, bugs, poor testing and quality control.

This game has turned in to a ridiculously painful and pointless grind, the fun has been sucked out of it by the constant nerfing of guns and addition of stupidly over powered enemies(I mean this new Impaler is so F'd, magical tentacles that can reach your from anywhere).

I used to play with about 20 friends all the time and it was great fun but now all have given up on this game for the above reasons.

How can this we let the Dev know this is meant to be fun, most of us aren't sweats wanting to spend hours grinding away on this game? We are casual gamers who want to jump on for a hr or so and have fun with our friends.

But i am guessing they don't even read these things :steamfacepalm:

They have a discord server where they read feedbacks afaik, although you should use a different tone out there (it's not a place for ranting, only constructive feedbacks)

You have to learn how to actually communicate if you want them to take your feedback seriously. If you just rant like you would in a forum, they will ignore it.

Good for you they'll release a patch next week that will make the game less of a sweat fest. Some changes Pilestedt hinted at:
- recoiless rifle will one shot chargers to the body (and I guess that means all rocket launchers will, maybe not the commando?)
- autocannon and anti material rifle will be effective against chargers
- small arms fire is effective against bile titan bellies

Buying this game was just a waste of cash.

don't event bother. they'll just ignore it. best you can do is leave a negative review on steam.

We have precedent of them actually listening, and the more people send in constructive feedback and ideas the higher the chances that they get implemented.

Keyword is "constructive criticism".

With how the community is, they think whining and threats is how its done.

By memory they didn't stick even to what they themselves said, let alone what randoms did?

I mean, they said times and times again that they were listening and stuff, but did they ever act on it even once?
Maybe the patch that tried to buff stratagems (but couldn't fix even the aim of "precision strike")?

So we're just going to ignore the big balance patch as if it never happened? That they buffed orbital precision strike, gatling barrage and machinegun turret because of both how the player uses them and feedback?

They listen but that doesn't mean they'll just do whatever the latest whining says.

What exactly did that change? The "meta" of stratagems remained the same, ♥♥♥♥ ones became a little less ♥♥♥♥.

It did nothing at all to make the game better overall. The meta didn't shift, the crashes and bugs were not touched. As I mentioned PRECISION STRIKE wasn't even fixed to actually shoot on the ball, which would have made it a good option for chargers by stickingn it to them. But what changed? Nothing I'm still using 500kg (unless it's the forest planet cause it's still impacting random trees there so I switch to airstrike) and railcannon.

Plus it's the only thing I mentioned that could have been construed as them listening to feedback, I brought it up which is the opposite of ignoring. But still.

Stratagems landing in the initial spot when stuck on a moving target is a known bug. They didn't manage to fix it since the game is out, but they intend to, it doesn't have anything to do about listening to feedback or not willing to improve the game. Bugs can take time to fix, nothing new about that (some game keep some bugs for years before they finally manage to fix them)

Also... meta might not have changed for you or everyone else, but I've been rocking with gatling barrage, rocket sentry and machine gun sentry a whole lot since their rework/buff. You might stick with your usual loadout as you're used to it and most efficient with it, but it doesn't mean other options are worst. Maybe less flexible, or more specialised against some threats (depending also of your team's selection - since it's a coop game, after all)

That only makes it worse, you understand. If it was a known bug for months (which it was) all the more reason it should be a priority when you're working on things that use that function, no? It seems very obvious to me.

Still this is meaningless, as we should all know by now talk is cheap, actions are what matters. Which is why I was asking what the precedent was, as the single only one I could think about was that single patch, which as you can see I don't regard as "listening to the community" very much.

I also find it laughable and in truth a bit stupid to lean on that single happenstance when we had 7 months of them going in the straight opposite direction even AFTER that.

But again, I didn't mean to discuss anything, I merely wanted to know if that was the precedent he meant.

No, meta is an objective thing not subjective. You can use liberator penetrator and have fun with it, but it's still a sub-par item.

Also loadout depending on the team is actually a fantasy, you only need to adjust if you need to compensate. Another old point that I thought was given for granted by now. Every diver can easily be self-sufficient. That's why we get so many threads about splitting.

But again, I didn't mean to discuss the obvious once more, I merely wanted to understand what that precedent was supposed to be.
