Do I need to kick people after every game?
I found out that either I have to kick people after the game or quit to the desktop and launch it again to create a new game. I don't want to kick everyone one by one, I just want to quit the party and play a new game.

Why not keep playing with the ones you have right there?

You can still kick the ones that were a problem.

Cause I don't like the way most people play. I like doing all objectives and collecting loot. Most people just attack everything on sight, cause endless bug breaches speedrun the main obj etc.

You can make a private lobby.

For that, don't host your own game, you are the server, so you can't quit without disbanding everyone. Second is asking people to leave, plenty will do so.

Lastly, if you don't like how people play enough to stick with them, then why make a public lobby?
Nakatomi Oct 12, 2024 @ 10:57am
Might as well go solo if that's the case in a private lobby because your not going to get many to play how YOU play.

Or....if you have a particular style of play there might be a discord that you can join to play with other like-minded divers. For instance, Commissar Kai has a discord for folks who want to play as consummate teamplayers while Eravin has a group that is more about stealth gameplay. Maybe find one of those groups and dive with them so you know what you're getting, plus you might make some friends along the way.

short answer, walk up to the mission terminal and use quick-play to join someone else, this will automatically send everyone else away and tell them "the host has left"

if you like being the collector/scout then just do that and let dummies like me tie down enemy reinforcements, im supper happy to barely survive while my teammates are just coasting around doing important stuff, there is nothing wrong with that. sometimes its better for me as i don't have to worry about killing my teammates if they are far away.
VIRUSOID Oct 12, 2024 @ 11:13am
Why don't you tell randoms who joins your lobby how you want to play? Communication always helps

Or like, ya knoww
Play with friends

omg why are you all giving OP a hard time? they want a quick and easy way to "leave" the game they're hosting and I don't think it's a huge ask.

any other thread where people say "i don't like playing with X players because...." get slammed with "LOL THEN HOST URSELF" responses, and here OP says "I host because I want a specific playstyle" and yall are telling them to host private lobbies

making a new session and not kicking individuals is probably better anyway with the state of the game as you might run into the bug where no one can rejoin your session so you're stuck with a two or three man squad

I would much rather see "the host has left the game" than "you have been kicked from the game" even though it doesn't at all matter in the slightest other than to my ego

Thank you for giving OP an actual solution

Go on the Discord, Facebook group(s) forums etc, and find people who like to play like you do, problem solved.

Or

I know this will come as a complete shock, communicate what you want to do, and how you want the mission to play out, You might find people are quite happy to do it your way, and if they are not, most will leave.

The game lacks "Leave your Squad" for the host, which is abit annoying, especially if the players are ok.
But if the players suck and are ruining the game for you, you shouldn't feel bad for kicking them off.

I mean if you play randoms and want to stealth you are honestly just kinda stupid I dont know how else to put it. Has to be the dumbest thing ive heard for a while.
Do what the other peeps reccomended and add some like minded players to your friends list because your current situation is hopeless

I didn't know the mission terminal thing, thanks for the info.

And yes, I just wander off to collect as many stuff as I can but most of the time I had to leave bunkers because most people just don't care. I try to find super samples, super credits and medals first. Especially the super credits are highly valuable as I only have one premium warbond unlocked.

Yeah this is the best option and I'm waiting for the "clan" system for that.
