Idea i had for a while is having certain amount of perkpoints and we can pick and choose what we want to have, and make different perks cost variable amount.
And i feel like the should have made weapon progression and customization system, because its weird to see like 5 variation of the same gun as separate weapons.
I guess its a lot of work, so even if they decide to do something like that, it will take a couple of years. But i do feel it will be much better then having things like they are now, which feels very static.
I mean if enough people ask for it. They seem to be listening for the most part now.
Don't hold me to that or anything but I feel like I watched a video on YT like a month or two ago and they said they were open to the idea.
I dont give a ♥♥♥♥ if you want to have extra bades and run the basic armor. Different armors are built for different things.
They don't need to be crazy stats, just enough to add a few %.
But it would look weird if you'd have gas resistance while wearing a parade uniform, so I'd say we wont get that. It breaks immersion and immersion is a big part of the experience.
Oh, cool. Wouldn't be the first thing they rightly backtrack on, and it'd be a good one.
Honestly, this game needs to have more req/sample sinks...
either they need to buff massively armor passives so there's a real use in team fights to them or just let us transmog if they don't want armors to be more impactfull than they are, because currently if i run towards a certain teamate it's mostly because of what support weapon he has equipped, not armor or primary weapon
Yeah they keep using that defense even tho no one believes them. I honestly think that they don't know how to do or else they would
You know what sells warbonds and items in the super store the best? Seeing OTHER players with that armor on or using those weapons. Stuff like that makes you want it
Instead of only using the same three armors in the game I'd actually use all kinds of armor to be more 'fancy' and I'd have more fun by doing so then always having to get the ugly armor that I use cause it's what's needed
Heck, I'll make it easier on them. Don't allow transmog between all armor classes to keep in the spirit on their whole stupid realism argument of having a disconnect by seeing a guy with heavy armor running around as quick as someone in light armor. Make it so you can only change armor within the same armor class. So you can swap you light armor with any other light armor etc etc. That way you can still get a lot of variance
Still, I honestly believe that they don't know how to transmog and instead of admitting that they can't do it or don't know how to do it they just come up with some stupid roleplay response.
But I would like to see them rework amor perks and boosters.
Fire resistance is an interesting scenario; On one hand it's kinda useless on most worlds against most factions and in most situations because it's almost always better to bring something that's more survivable or killy.
But then you add the DES and suddenly fire armor becomes a way to spec into this weapon that's otherwise mediocre, but now really good with fire res.
Likewise some high recoil weapons benefit from recoil reduction, or slow reloading weapons from faster reloading, they can throw in weapons with really wild stats that can be 'tamed' through armor passives.
But there's still a handful not really impactful and with no alternatives that look similar with a potentially useful passive.
