[Needs buff] Two things about the new constitution rifle

Two things
It needs stripper clips (at least for empty mag) and a 20 damage boost and I'll be happy.
Right now single loads make it way worse than the revolver and that deals MORE damage (a revolver should not be doing more damage), has MORE ammo, has heavy armor penetration, AAAAND a speedloader after completely emptying the cylinder.

I'm just saying, I love the bolt action but it seriously is useless compared to even the liberator if it can't do at least more damage or have stripper clips.

Just my 2 cents, this gun could shine way better if at least one of the two things I talked about are met.

Its supposed to be a meme tier weapon not a competitive choice. Even in HD1 it was subpar at best. Might be a nice template for a more contemporary bolt action in the future. The bayonet is a nice addition though.

Yeah it's not good at all, should have been heavy pen or just higher damage to make it worth it over the Counter Sniper and the Senator at this point. Stripper Clips also are a must if you want it to be used at all beyond "lol meme gun funny" sorry.

I think it's been pretty alright for the joke weapon it's suppose to be. Kills bots easily. I have yet to judge it for bugs.

Honestly it was actually pretty good in hd1, single shot reload was less an issue and resupplies were less frequent and required a stratagem slot. Its ap rounds hit pretty well and the bayonet of course is nice. Its a genuinely viable alternative on most fronts up til like 10+ difficulty which i havent tried it on in hd1

Stripper clips yes I agree. But not 20 round mag. The Constitution is a remake of the U.S. M1903 Springfield used back in WW1. The Springfield only has 5 rounds. Since the gun is only a reproduction and not an upgrade, keeping it historically accurate is the better choice

I have no clue why things are still coming out pre nerfed like this. I get that its supposed to be like a "challenge/ meme gun", but it could've been ap 4 atleast. the bayonet is actually pretty decent when you combine it w/ peak physique.

It's pretty bad, but beyond just the poor performance, it's guilty of the most egregious crime a weapon can be guilty of in this game, which is that it's just unsatisfying to use. Even the double-barrel you can find at least tends to make smaller enemies explode, while this thing only one-shots basic bots and scavengers. It can't even kill a basic warrior in a single hit, and the melee attack isn't really that great either. It's not 'fun' to use. It's not good at anything.

While yes it was a meme gun, doesn't mean it should remain that way. Stripper clips and a slight damage boost is perfectly reasonable
