its no excuse but the rifle sucked in the first game it was a meme weapon so dont expect much

You literally just got that from me calling it a "challenge" meme weapon, what did i say about repeating stuff about HD1 without context or understanding of it? lol

And i didn't say it *sucked* either, being a bolt-action in a game where you're outnumbered meant you'd be overwhelmed quickly, but stratagems took care of hordes and for what it was worth, it dealt very high damage per shot, being able to 1-2 tap most medium enemies.

Adding to that it was actually on the high-end of gameplay "skill" because it was perfect for melee-dodging, a movement tech that was hard to master but completely "meta" in HD1, so in a way, the Constitution was among the best weapons *if* you could melee-dodge consistently, even if it was a "meme" weapon.

If anything, i *expect* given the latest balance changes to HD2 for the Constitution to be able to 1-2 shot Devastators with body shots (but expectations don't mean anything :) ).
Also it's main drawback, the poor rate of fire, isn't a concern in HD2, even against Bugs, HD1 was a completely different game with a lot less time and room to react, if it shoots faster than the Eruptor and can kill Brood/Alpha Commanders reliably then it's already perfectly viable on it's own.

Stop repeating the first thing you see without looking into it yourself, and a good dose of skepticism is always healthy, specially on the internet, lol
