How is it a decline in quality? The last several warbonds had reskinned firearms like the Cookout, and they only added 2 new firearms. We're finally getting 3 new weapons that all have unique models instead of being reskins of other guns with different ammo.
I complain a lot but I like to think I'm not some jaded loser, I don't actively catch myself liking something and then furrow my brow and say no! and then convince myself it sucks.
The warbond does seem a little lacking but I mean Truth Enforcer doesn't really have a theme for me to get confused with, so I can't complain. It sounds like some crime fighting TV show so the power ranger armour and garish capes with a strong skin design theme going for it kinda make sense.
Sure wish they'd hurry up and add a plasma based support weapon though. I'd have sooner enjoyed a plasma cannonpult we can lob huge balls of plasma across the map with as opposed to some tiny sidearm that seems a little redundant.
Shotgun is intriguing because stun / stagger is always fun and despite my misgivings we've already got shotguns which are dead 'ard and propa killy, so maybe it'll be good. Defender SMG vs whatever that Polar Patriots one is kind of situation, I expect.
These warbonds really need to put one light, one medium and one heavy armour set in them though. It's kinda getting old that they're putting the coolest looking one on the superstore for like 50% of the entire warbond in price now.
Currently I just wish that in the Freedom's Flame warbond the pistol was a huge missed opportunity to have been a incendiary round / flare gun type of pistol instead of a flamethrower.
I think we really need another big warbond like when the game launched. These small drip fed ones that were suppose to come out on a monthly cadence already isn't being maintained. (Understandably from the 60 day patch stuff)
Hopefully there will be a new big warbond when the illuminates are released.
Attracts bugs, confuses bots (makes them reluctant to use their own flare gun to summon dropships? Or maybe if you fire it it completely obscures bot flares and denies a dropship call, if you're quick?) and also of course does incendiary damage on contact.
And lights up the area around you. Liberty burns bright, baby.
I think I'd like the game more if it was a seasonal thing, thinking about it. With a big warbond every 3 months instead of a little warbond every 1-2 months, maybe. Strong themes, no deviation, this season is all about LASERS and this season is all about FLAMES and so on. New planets, new war goals, new galaxy map major orders going on, new weapons, armour, just a huge and sudden glut of content to chew through across 3 months or whatever.
Or 4 months, if they'd rather drop three big warbonds instead of four per year or whatever.
Smaller content drops from Major Orders between those, this would be the period when we got strategems and stuff unlocked, I guess. Rather than having 'em put into warbonds themselves? I dunno.
Maybe that's too boring and obvious and would turn people away.
