There are a couple of things extra you may want to do when you're solo, though.
- HMG Emplacement will be of greater use to you than usual.
- Backpacks are highly recommended: Supply Pack, Guard Dogs, Jetpack, or Shield. My first pick would be either of the first two.
- Maybe don't bring anything that requires you to stand still on reload, including the Recoilless. If you're getting overrun, you won't be able to use it at all. Consider EAT, Commando, or Quasar instead.
- You likely will not be able to just stand your ground on the point. You may want to hang out around the perimeter (the max distance you can be and still raise the flag) and try to find a path to circle around the area. This means you can keep moving without retreating.
Not 100% sure on that last one, though, since I don't remember what the radius is for raising the flag.
Strat loadout could be something like Autocannon Sentry, HMG Emplacement, Guard Dog, and then last slot is either another Sentry (probably Rocket or EMS)... or an Eagle if you don't have Thermite grenades available.
Edit:
Either Exosuit, like that other guy mentioned, is also a good choice if you're willing to wait for the cooldown between flags, since they should last just long enough. I forgot about them. lol

Dont call the flag down during a bug breach
Place turrets in front.
DONT THROW NAPALM ON THE FLAG jfc this one so much.
with a RR you can shoot dropships down by hitting the body killing everything they carry. The ONE exception to this is the Fac Striders, but they too will sometimes die but should they survive they are heavily damaged and typically only take a single RR round to the head to finish off.
then take along the rocket and/or autocannon sentry to "watch your back"/ Deal with anything that does manage to drop.
poof you can now solo flag mission up to and including lvl 10s.
bugside is a bit more difficulty actually since you cannot "prevent" bug breeches from actually spawning bugs, for those bring sentries and the orbital napalm...but make sure you realize the range/spread of the napalm when you throw it so you don't end up covering the flag with it.
If you're some pro rambo, fine, but the number of times I see someone call the flag alone and then immediately die boggles me. It's not going to get done any faster, I'm already on my way there, just wait a few seconds.
"How does one do the mission where you need to raise the super earth flags, alone?"
Drone backpack kills mobs and pack something heavier for armour like a railgun, thermite, EAT.
Auto cannon sentry is just a good pick for everything and every mission
Easy peasy
