This is a post about me raging over a really tiny nitpick that is ruining automations for me.

I don't know how they haven't changed the frequency of this message in all the time I've spent playing this game. I stopped playing Automations for this dumb message being spammed from across the damn map. It is SO ANNOYING. Every 5 seconds reminding me of exactly what I already know. Thanks, I'm in range and the sky is blue. Why can we not limit the frequency of this message? Mission control can shut the hell up, respectfully. The range of the artillery is like half the map, and approaching it takes nigh forever with a small squad so the message will get repeated 20-30 times before we finally get rid of the artillery. We don't even take out the tower because of the artillery anymore, we take it out to shut up the message.

The second this message comes on we all just groan in unison. WHY?

Totally agree. The only warning I really need is when stuff starts to explode around me. I can figure it out, don't need the 'voice'.

I would appreciate it if the message only played for squad members who are, in fact, in range of enemy artillery.
