Thermite grenades
Thermite grenades bounce off enemies too easily. Chargers especially. AH, please fix.

I know I can't be the only one that has noticed this. I've hit chargers head on at 90 degree angle only for them to bounce off. It's nuts actually.

Hold the button till you hear "Click." once you hear that, they stick with no issues. Throwing it just like a grenade that is on a timed fuse, doesn't seem to work.

Am I the only one who actually never seen thermire grenade bounce?

They've bounced a lot in the past. My friend accidentally held one down when he was throwing it and it clicked. Then we found they always seem to stick if they click haha.

100% agreed. I've cooked the thermite grenade until the spikes pop out like people have told me to, and sometimes it still bounces off. Throwing a thermite at a Bile titan will have a 50/50 chance of bouncing off unless you stick it on the gut. Imps will sometimes shrug off a thermite to their bare face and I watch it activate on the floor next to them, dealing no damage. They gotta make the thermites a bit stickier for them to actually be reliable, since you only have 3 (or 5 with the armor passive)

I'll be honest I've never actually cooked a thermite before. I was under the impression that once it "clicks" the fuse has started and you get the sparks. Don't you take damage from this?

You don't have to cook them, you just have to land them on a more flat surface. Thermite bounces off of steep angles and slopes. Think of it as trying to throw thermite on top of a target and not into the side of a target.

Ricochet is an important part of the game but I think it just needs to be adjusted. I've snuck up on chargers before and hit them broadside while they are standing still 90 degree angle only for it to bounce. I regularly have to use 2 thermites to kill a charger because the first 1 is always made of rubber, it's almost a personal meme at this point.

Yeah, I'm not saying anything against it. I'm just used to people not understanding that's how the system works at all. There's been a few "wtf my thermite won't stick!" threads.
