When you hold R, you (for some weapons) have 4 options: mousewheel up or down, click left or right

It's left click to cycle anything on the left side my guy.

know mouse wheel from before the Upgrade. When I hold R I see a controller left icon t switch ammos Ive tried mouse left by clicking mouse wheel to the left nothing happens. Tried Left arrow on KB a which is left in game nothing triggers it for me

No, just regular left click. Like when you click "Post Comment" here.
Being able to click the mousewheel is just a function of your cool mouse.

That's weird.
Do you have any other controller prompts ingame?
Is there maybe a controller connected to your pc interfering with things?
Shouldn't really be an issue but it's worth double checking.

Have you had this issue with any other gun on which you can LMB/RMB to switch firemodes such as the railgun, Recoilless or machine guns?

Oh yeah this is the problem.
You don't click your mouse wheel to the left, you click your LMB, the same one you use to fire your weapon.

I got thanks all for the help it wasnt set in the actual KB settings under mouse wheel click left made it Fire key were good ty.

Ok What you want to do is customize your keyboard settings, In the game go to options, look for weapons controls and click on change key bindings, it will tell you which key does what and you can change keys to make it easier to use.

Bear in mind not every change key bindings is the right one if you don't see letters in the bindings your in the wrong one.
