I quite liked the old dog, but the new one with an expanded mag and a better gun is definitely an improvement.
My biggest issue with the penetrator has always been the ammo and recoil. Both of which got altered in this current patch and why it finally feels so good to me. I wanna love the tenderizer, but it just, I dunno.
if you don't have the time or $ to get the warbonds, then the penetrator is a reasonable ppor mans rifle.
What truly is obsolete is the standard liberator now. every variant of it is a straight up upgrade, with no trade off.
penetrator AP3
carbine fire rate and speed reload
concussive larger drum mag, stagger
With the penetrator buff, it naturally made sense to give it a drum mag like the concussive.
i hope they just forgot to do that. it would at least feel like a mini stalwart.
''Fantastic'' while still being an inferior choice. aha
Inferior choice to what? There is no reason to bring any specific gun outside of having the "Best of" yet all the guns are functional and able to assist your team. The difference between the adjuicator and the penetrator is 30 damage, except the penetrator has 15 more bullets, so it kind of evens that field out.
