As for getting the big stack of 100 super creds itself, that's pretty rare from my own experience and completely random, i've only ever gotten about 5 of them in the entire time i've played this game.
By running Difficulty one and two you can solo grind your way to a warbond fairly quickly.
Since then I'd occasionally get a pile of 10 and/or 100 SC from bunkers in the higher difficulties (8 and up). Realized that it was faster accruing SC by playing normally instead of try harding by spamming Diff. 3 operations. You'll be having fun and eventually getting enough SC without the boring grinding.
Don't mind the SC too much, before you even realize it you'll eventually accrue enough SC to buy a warbond by just having fun playing instead of going on a sweat-fest grinding of boredom for it. I'm a testament to that, I have all but one warbond (the jungle themed one), and I got them all just from collecting SC on various operations against the Automatons and Terminids.
I'd rather pay money than farm Super Credits that way (and support Arrowhead).
I do throw in some money though when new armors drop, usually with an update.
Especially now that they gave light & heavy armors more damage resistance, etc.
Since I have collected every single armor/helmet so far (and want more, lol)
DANG! What good luck, perhaps Arrowhead made a change to the drop chance?
A good way to grind Super Credits is to play difficulty 1 (Trivial) missions,
then after you looted all the POIs/got all drops just go back to your ship.
Trivial due to the map being small (POIs being close together),
and there being no Rare Samples in the loot pool of the map.
Rinse & repeat, and you'll accrue Super Credits very fast this way
Definitely VERY lucky! I never heard getting it twice, let alone thrice in a SINGLE round!
The Viper Commandos does have the nicest skins (IMHO) for the Drop Pod/Exos, etc.
And at around the launch you could find a map with good Super Credit drops,
and then disconnect/keep re-doing that map over and over (until they patched it).
Definitely saw that coming from miles away as I farmed around 4000 Super Credits,
and I believe it was in a time frame of just 3 to 4 hours (which is insane to think about).
And apparently we are getting armor customization (in terms of color, AFAIK),
in which you can color the armor to what you have unlocked in Warbonds (apparently).
It does make a lot of sense from an economic perspective for Arrowhead,
i.e. making sure everyone buys/gets all the Warbonds/actively plays for Medals.
And BTW - the United Earth Directorate FTW!
Oh look, an ironic crappy person! It's not that it is a whole dollar, no one cares.
It is just that it is a very rare drop that you may never obtain, but I/others did..
Yeah, now that you mention it.. it might have been possible I got it once before as well,
but in the heat of battle you don't really notice it & I buy SC as well (to support Arrowhead).
Dang, it really makes me feel like they might have changed the drop chance for it?
Or just made it temporarily higher to get people to "play more"? Who knows frankly..
Not even going to read any more of your brain-dead comments (welcome to the block list).
