How to save changes in Options?

i for some reason now have windowed mode on. never changed it but welp.
i want to go back to borderless, but when i change it i see no option to save that change. no keybind showing, no hint telling me how to when i try to leave the menu. all it says is if i leave the menu it will discard the changes.
not really helpful.
i dont know if it is obvious and i just miraculously manage to miss it but can someone please help me out, windowed kind of sucks and im stuck with it now.

Assuming you're using a Windows OS, go to your C drive, click on users, your name, and then AppData. AppData is hidden by default, so if you can't see it click on the View tab and click the checkbox next to Hidden Items.
Go to Roaming, and you should see a file named Arrowhead, keep on clicking until you find a CONFIG file named user_settings. Right click the file, go to Properties, and turn on the Read Only next to Attributes. The game should now boot up properly in full-screen resolution and with your display settings saved.

If that doesn't help, it could be due to the pre-installed Antivirus ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up config updates. Open up Windows Defender, go under Virus & Threat Detection, then click on Manage ransomware protection. Turn off Controlled Folder Access and it should now let Helldivers update its configs in peace.

i also found a keybind though, it was tab. it wasn't showing up on the screen though. i remember it used to. not sure what goes wrong on my end.
maybe cut off on the bottom of the screen as i can see it now with full screen back on again.
