a gas build that works

[Ryan Gosling (literally me)]

medium armor that gives 2 extra gas grenades

blitzer or any shotgun you prefer, probably cookout but i find blitzer shines with this build due to all the stuns going on.

6 gas nades

gas strike

500kg to deal with big packs or a titan

gas guard dog. idk if they buffed it but it seems to switch targets often enough now. it'll stun enemies around you. this is important because the centre piece is the laser cannon.

gas nades stunning, you have 6 so be generous with the gas. gas strike as an ohsht button or to take out a pack and lockdown an area like a breach for example. the guard dog will gas stun and so will your nades and you can go full-bore with the laser cannon and mop up anything. laser cannon is amazing at taking down the shriekers too.

as for heavies just shoot chargers in the butt, they are so squishy now it doesnt matter. titan you use 500kg, common sense.

ive found this build works really well but it shines when you arent solo and theres 3 people. it has so much crowd control potential it makes things easier for everyone. not to mention the laser cannon is excellent at cleaning up stunned enemies.

im open to that too. depends how reliably you can land the 500kg. remember its aoe got a huge buff so its pretty decent now. you forgot that we use the dog breath for this build so spear is no go.

I haven't had the chance to try out the other gas weapons yet. Just the grenade. Holy ---- it's good.

I can't justify anything else against bugs now. I've seen it kill 10 bugs. The orbital gas strike feels pointless compared to it.

You seem to be forcing this on helldivers to use. I’ve tried gas when the warbond was first released and I am not a fan. I would rather replace dog breath with something useful like orbital railcannon or orbital laser. On higher difficulties, dog breath isn’t good for minimizing bug breaches.

Fart drone is still a little bad , the change of getting ON/OFF helps when is stuck with a bug pretty far of you but i think other dogs works and helps better , when a patrol is gonna get you , toss granade , one pass , and the fart dog is stuck in an already farted bug by the granade , that bug that passed gonna annoy you .
Happen me a lot trying almost the same build a while ago .
Now new liberator drone is god with new buffs and laser dog can be off when you want

Regular Guard Dog just shreds through bots. It just obliterates Berkserkers and Devastators with ease. It kills them so quick it's legitimately frightening.
